A roommate (chapter 6)

I knew I wanted to help but I didn't know how. I barely knew anything about the world let alone trying to save it. I asked how could I help but no one answered me. Owl may told me no one knew how to stop her she just had to be stopped. We needed a plan and I needed to learn about the queen. I asked if they had any books to learn about the queen. They gave me a couple books and I took them home. Surprisingly all chores were done and no one was home, so I locked myself in my room to read. I knew if my parents found these books I would get a long lecture about fariy tail books. There were many pictures of the before and after effects of the burnt forest, and even pictures of the queen herself. Just then my mama yelled for me. How did she know I was home? I quickly hid the books under a lose floor board no one else knew about, and ran downstairs to my mom. She wanted me to help with dinner. It was kinda early to start cooking but I didn't question it. We cook a large amount of food way more than just for our family. I asked mama why was there so much food. We have another family living with us she said. It was to help with the bills and help with extra money and chores. It was a family of two parents and a son. Papa went to my room and I got scared he was going to discover the boys so I followed him. He hung a curtain diving the room in half I asked about it and he told me I was going to share a room with their son. This made me upset but I didn't say anything. I moved all my stuff to my side of the room and luckily the lose floor board was on my side to. My brothers also had to share a room no so the parents had a room.
