45. Wake Up

Three days later

Jk pov

" No hyung... I don't think they will do something like this.... I think something is behind this.... we should have investigate it thoroughly before move forward with the case..." I said to Yoongi hyung. We are still in hospital ,in Jin's room and it has three days Jin is admitted here. Jimin is with Chief. Jin's condition is getting better, but he is still unconcious. Doctor asked us to wait as he said it may be because of his fever.

" There is nothing we can do Jk, they surrendered and already said that they are the one who do it. I don't believe it either. But maybe that's the truth. Well think like this, what if you were their target and Jin got accidently shot. They may feel guilty for doing that to Jin, maybe that's why they surrendered." Yoongi hyung stated and sip the coffee.

I shake my heads negatively.

" No, the gun was aimed for Jin and they weren't Yoon Seok's men. Jin confirmed that. Someone else try to kill Jin." I try to convince them.

" If it is someone else, then it be one of their rivals right. That means directly or indirectly they are the reason for Jin's present condition. They deserve it Jk. why are so much aroused about this?" Yoongi hyung said and throwed the plastic glasss to  the waste bin after crumpling it. He get up from the couch.

I sighed and looked at Jin who is laying in the bed with his air mask over his face.

Yes. I am aroused with these..... because of him. Jin won't be okay if he heard about their arrest. Also the real culprit is escaping by this and what if he came to kill Jin again.

*Ring ring*

I came out of my thoughts when i heard Yoongi's phone rang.

He attended it . I too move from the couch and sat on the chair beside Jin. I checked for his temperature with my hand. its diminishing..

" Jungkook stay here. Chief called me. I think its about Jin's case. So i am leaving now. Call me if you need anything okay. The securities are outside." hyung said me for which i nodded. He then move out of the room. 

I take the wet cloth that dipped in cold water from the side table and began to wipe Jin's face and arms.

" Wake up soon Jin.... I am missing your voice.... I want you back like your real self. Everyone is waiting for you to wake up... Your father..... Your mother.... We all are.... So wake up soon...." I said him as i wiped his slim arms which is connected with an iv drip.

Chief knew about his condition two days before.. well, our chief was continously asking for his son to hear his voice not knowing about Jin's condition before that. We were hiding this from him as we don't want him to be worry as his current health condition is also not fine. But as he compelled us more, without having a choice we have to tell him everything. As soon as he knows about this , he came here with the help of some other officers in our team. He didn't speak about anything other than a question,'Where is my son?'.

Chief is a strong person who didn't let anyone else understand about his weekness. Always keeps a strong aura and a calm mind.Our role model. But ...That day....  that day, it wasn't our Chief...... It was just a  father who was crying beside his long lost son who was fighting for his life. He cried and stayed there for long hours blaming himself for everything happened and apologising to his son. It was really a heart breaking scene . Even i couldn't have the ability to witness everything ,so i move out of the room.

Jin's mom, Choi Jisoo will be here in two days. After that incident ,she wasn't mentally well and more in a depressed state because of her loss of her only son. She was hospitalised for months due to that injury and when she become physically well, she moved to abroad with her brother leaving Chief as she blamed him for everything. She wasn't ready for a new life forgeting everything. Even though they are seperated ,they are still legally husband and wife. She don't want another life and she was continuing her life doing some charity works in the name of his lost son. She never came back to Korea after that incident. But yesterday night Chief talked with  her brother. He used to call her brother to know about how she is doing. So that helps him to get her in touch. He didn't dared to speak with her so he explained everything to her brother and today morning he informed that they are coming back to Korea in two days.I hope Jin's condition will be better then and he wake up. But i am still worried about them not knowing how will Jin reacts to everything.

Two days before, some officers who wasn't from our team came to hospital knowing about Jin. They are the detectives dealing with Jin's case as our superiors want them to investigate this case. I wasn't here at that time. Only Chief and Yoongi was here along with some security officers for Jin and Chief. The officers came here to inform about the culprits.  Yes, they captured the culprits who escaped from us. And the thing they said amuses me. They says it was Yoon Seok who send the men to kill Jin and they need a written complaint for the further formalities.

Our chief was really angry at Kims that time especially after thinking that Kims again hurts Jin just because of the grudge towards him. Well that's normal right. We can't blame him. So he give them a written complaint. Since the culprits gave there statement against Kims, Yoongi didn't objects either. But he felt something is weird.

I came to know about these after seeing the news of arrest of Yoon Seok and Taehyung. The media was celebrating the news. What makes me more amusing is they surrendered themselves. Why? The evidence was not enough to make it as a non bailable offence.but still they got arrested and Kim Namjoon didn't do anything.

Speaking of him,he came here to visit Jin the same day of the arrest. He tried his best to see him, but Yoongi didn't allow him as he states Namjoon as a suspect too. I still remember his teary and painful eyes. I can sence how much he concerned for Jin. He stay here for somemore time to get our mercy. He seems pathetic.

 Jin adores him alot. Not only him. He loves both of his brothers so much. After sometime he left,but before he going he looked at me.

'Take care of him' That's what he told me before he move out wiping his tears.

They won't do this. They won't try to hurt Jin. It is someone else's play. Maybe any of the rivals of them. Its definetly not Kims. That's for sure. This has to-

" A....pp..... a......."

I came out of my thoughts when i heard a muffled voice from Jin. I looked at him.

His eyes are still closed, but there is tears coming from the side of his eyes. he is taking deep breathes as the monitor connected to his body began to beep.

" Jin... Oh God.." I pressed the emergency button to get someone here...

" App..a...." He said again, but in a raised voice than before and hold my hand which was over his hand tightly.

" Jin ..its me.. Jungkook... Open your eyes..." I said him caressing his head. I am worried for him...

After somemore time, the beeps sound calm down and he slowly opened the eyes ....

Its teary.... he blinked for sometime and looked at me...

" k-kook......"
