"Well well well looks somebody's found their edge"

Matt teased me as we walked backstage the segment went great I really feel as though the crowed connected with me.
"So when did you realize you could do it?" Kenny asked.

I shrugged not really wanting them to know about my encounter with Moxley god knows the heat they shared.
"I guess it was a spark of the moment thing, I put my gear on and remembered how far I've come" I lied right through the skin of my teeth. In truth if it wasn't for Jon I probably would have tucked my tail just like Britt Bakers boyfriend did.

"We'll I'm glad everything worked out now we can focus on getting the gold around your waist, only then can you be truly Elite."

I headed back to my dressing room only to be stopped in my tracks by Jade Cargill, gosh this chick is even more intimidating in person.
"Who do you think you are?" She spat, I shook my head confused "what are you talking about?"

I tried my hardest to not sound bitchy because right now I wanted zero problems with her.
"You heard me you come up in here acting like you own the place and then I hear through the grapevine that your up next for a shot at the title?"

Oh this was a jealously thing surely jade was a tremendous athlete but she needed an abundance of work in the ring.
"Listen Jade I've paid my dues and I have wrestled the best of the best all over the world, I can understand why your upset but you cannot blame me."

She scoffed and flipped her hair back "well since your the best I want to see what you've got, I'll go to Brandi right now and tell her I want a match with you next week on dynamite."
Now this was about to get interesting I smirked in a cocky manor, Jade didn't know it yet but I was about to mop the floor with her.

"If that's what you want"
~

"Hey Kacey the boys and I were wondering if you wanted to come out for dinner?" Kenny says peaking a head into my dressing room.

I was about to object but my stomach answered before I did "I guess I should eat" I replied hesitantly.
"Well shall we?" He extended his arm to me and I accepted but before I knew it he pulled me over his shoulders laughing.
"Ha ha ha! Loser"

I sighed heavily knowing that this would happen often, you would think the best in the world would be slightly more mature.

"I'll have the New York strip well done with mashed potatoes and asparagus as a side" I said handing the waiter the menu.
Kenny, Matt and Nick all were having a blast or maybe they were just drunk. I tried to convince them not to order alcoholic beverages but their response was "just because your not old enough to drink doesn't mean we can't have fun."

Children they acted like children and I was growing rather annoyed babysitting three grown men, I excused myself from the table and walked over to the bar. I asked for a cocktail and the bartender frowned before asking for my ID "I'm twenty fucking two" I snapped snatching it out of his hands. He apologized and quickly made my drink, it was blue and tasted fruity honestly resembled a sugary juice.

Thankfully the food arrived and the boys were silent for a while until it was decided that they wanted dessert.
Kenny ordered a simple cheesecake while the Bucks ordered this monstrous ice cream Sunday "so Kacey K tell us are you dating?"

I almost chocked on my drink my love life was something I preferred not speak about at this current state.
"Come on you can tell us we don't judge" Matt teased, I rolled my eyes ultimately giving in.

"Well I dated or thought I was dating Matthew Riddle for a while"
Kenny and the Bucks went wide eyed "I didn't know that he was married he claimed that he and his wife Lisa were divorced but kept up appearances for their children. Little did I know he was a huge liar and he never even discussed a divorce with her, she called me a teenage home wrecker and insisted that Matthew likes underage women."

"Is that the real reason you didn't sign with them?"Kenny asks.

I shook my head he hit it right on the nose "sometimes to much publicity is a bad thing and I refuse to be "a teenage home wrecker"
The boys laughed and I couldn't help but join in the term was actually quite amusing.

"Well Matt and I are plastered I think it's time we head back to our hotel, hey kid can you drive?" Nick said I scoffed at his comment.

"Can I drive?"
