Despite being the more bombastic of the team, Havoc don't really tell his entire story. To be frankly honest, neither does the other Reapers, but Havoc... There's something more than just a criminal turned into a hero. Then there were rumors of his past being told. Some say he was once from a rich family - that was false; others mentioned of his upbringing to be too strict - again false; few think that his life might have been worst of wear - that was true; others think he may be insane - well we all have that little bit of insanity now, would we.

Many of the spartans, who were paired with Havoc, tends to come with a few "quirks" about him.

From Spartan Kelly-087: "Havoc? Despite his often loud nature, he seems more reserve than the rest, save for Infernos. However, he still cares for his teammates and would go out of his way to protect him."

Then from Spartan Cal-141: "Most Spartans were trained to be disciplined and thoughtful, he is simply brutal, yet efficient and creative. He managed to kill a troubling brute, despite being hit by the gravity hammer multiple times. He uses everything around him - most notably from the ODSTs, a tree log."

Lastly, from Daisy-023, the first spartan that Reaper Havoc-04 tends to have the most impact and emotion: "I don't have the words to describe of how he is behaving. He wasn't at all as I was expecting, but... When we were on that mission, he did nearly everything he could to protect me at all cost. He really shouldn't be worried, yet he instinctively responded to my aid."

Havoc-04 have gave ONI an opportunity to try and delve deeper into the past of the old Humanity possibly even before the creation of the UNSC and ONI. They searched through the old files, seeing countless images of war, death and chaos. As such, these men were made to serve and protect. They were police units initially, until the entire galaxy ended up with an interplanetary war. Back before the Spartan or the Orion Project, there were the "Knights".

Named after one of the greatest warrior of old, the Knights were an elite division of Earth Gov's army, chosen from many places - including the prisons. The Knights weren't like the Spartans, they have many things that may or may not be considered morbid now. While there were many biologically enhancements, the focus was primarily aimed at the core body, removing the once fragile skeleton and replacing it with a stronger, more durable endoskeleton. Thus they needed melee weapons to combat them, should there ever be another group though similar. Whilst ONI took to study the Knights, the others focus on one particular Knight.

By this point, they thought they have had everything, but there's still more to him than meets the eye.

Havoc have his usual activities, like boxing, exercising and even reading. Sure, the holo-pads are made for convenience, but Havoc would rather read a more private and simple book, where it is not connected to practically everything. He does keep one nearby, but overall, he's pretty secluded. That was until a familiar voice entered the room.

"You're awfully lonely." Havoc takes a moment to direct his attention to the voice. There he sees the spartan that he was first paired with, the spartan that may have sounded the youngest and probably the more innocent of the Spartan-2s: Daisy-023.

Havoc just shrugs off and continued to read his book, "Go figure." He then ask, "Now, what is a spartan, like you, doing here?"

Daisy answered, "Well, I'm mostly here to ask you a few questions."

"This is about my past, I'm assuming."

"Yes."

"Firm as ever. Well, try loosing it up, mate. Also, what's with my pass you're so interested in?"

"Why you were a criminal before, then hero now?"

"Fine." Havoc stopped reading his book and gestures the emerald eyed spartan to take a seat. In response, she walked towards the chair across from Havoc as he begins to tell his story:

"I remembered the times where I thought I was the lucky one. However, that was not the case. Long ago, I was a very young lad, trying to get through life with a free other 100 children. Many were taken and sent to families, I had none. Once the orphanage shut down, I have nowhere to go, no one to guide me. Had I have a family, I wouldn't be here right now, but... I'll tell you later.

"Years gone by and I am still part of the new world, a child stuck in a grown man's body. Overtime I've have a 'friendly' rivalry with the local authorities. I was slippery and cunning, but also smart. It's almost like I remembered how to make a plastic explosive with nothing more than some casings, wiring, a battery and a lot of wasted bullets. The last time I did that was... ####, long time ago. And that time, was the last time I was caught by the police.

"I was sent to the facility, yet they have a hard time entering my psyche. It only take a single opportunity, that I became what I am today. Whatever happened in that place? Well, you may say that 'wars' happens 24/7. I never took the time to appreciate anyone or anything, until I met her - the scientist that reconstructed my body. The princess and I have a sort of relationship, as a mother to a child. She's the only thing that has ever taught me about love and care. Without her, I may go insane. Now those are so long ago, I'm pretty sure she is dead at this point."

By the time he finishes his story, he took a moment to stare at Daisy. While subtle, it may have indicated that she might have experienced the same thing, but different. While she had parents, he has none; she was indoctrinated into the program, he chooses to. However, both are still children stuck in the bodies of an older generation, well she more than he.

. . . . .

"Doctor, you may want to take a look at this."

"Interesting. So they are related."

"Presumably, yes. But they have yet to counter each other."

"Until they are ready, keep this information at bay."

"Yes ma'am."
