Aaron: "God's timing is magnificent." Lailah Gifty Akita.

"Well good morning everyone," Emily said as she ran into the bullpen. All of the agents that were gathered around Spencer's desk looked up. Each agent raised their eyebrows as she had a certain glow to her. "Agent Jareau! I'm sorry I'm late. If we get far behind, lunch is on me."

Emily didn't say another word as she ran up to her office. The raven-haired woman's smile was concerning to the others. It was almost like Emily was walking on air. There was almost too much sunshine coming out of her.

"Well, this is going to be fun," JJ said and pursed her lips. She didn't say anything else as she made her way up the stairs. The three other agents all waved her off before turning back to their conversation at hand.

"Have any of you talked to Hotch?" Penelope asked as she peeked over Derek's shoulder and at the office. The door was shut like always with no signs of life behind it.

"I didn't even see him come in," Spencer said and shrugged his shoulders.

"It's Hotch. He'll get over it eventually," Derek said and took a sip of his coffee. The two other agents nodded their heads before moving the conversation.

Ring. Ring. Ring.

Emily furrowed her eyebrows as she grabbed her phone from her pocket. The raven-haired woman saw the name and tried to hide her smile. JJ glanced up with curious eyes as she pretended to look down at the file in front of her. "Excuse me, JJ."

Emily got up and made her way over to the windows. JJ pursed her lips as she sat back in her seat. The blonde woman's ears perked up as Emily cleared her throat. If Emily was going to be here for a while, she might as well get to know the juicy details of her personal life.

"Hey, you," Emily said softly. The man smiled on the other line of the phone. "What did you need?"

"You forgot your necklace in my jacket when we went out last night," he said and leaned against the wall. "I know how much that little things means to you, so can I stop by and drop it off for you? Maybe take you to lunch if you're not to busy?"

"You drive a hard bargain, Johnson," Emily said and chuckled softly. "But I'm going to be busy. You can leave the necklace at the front desk, but I'll be glued to my desk for the rest of the day."

"I'll see what I can do. Don't work too hard," he said and smiled widely against his phone. "I've got to go, but I'll see you later, Emily."

"Bye," Emily said and hung up the phone. JJ's hand hovered over her mouth to cover up her smile to Emily. The raven-haired woman sat back in her chair and noticed the body language. "Sorry, it was a personal call."

"Mmm, personal," JJ said and winked at Emily. The raven-haired woman smiled softly as a tint of blush formed on her cheeks. "Are we going to be meeting this mystery man soon? It's a tradition to get the team's blessing whenever a member starts dating someone."

"A tradition huh?" Emily asked and flipped open the file. She sat tall and powerful in her seat. It almost made JJ forget that she was a blushing mess two seconds ago.

"Can we stop the formal talk for a second? I have so many questions, you know, as your friend," JJ said and smiled innocently at Emily. The blonde woman clapped her hands together as her eyes pleaded with Emily.
