Chapter 15

I knew they were following me, but one was ahead of them all and I knew it was Carlisle. "Belle stop! Your safe now!" He said, I felt so bad, what I did to him and my kids, and almost killing the family. I was struck with grief.

"Belle honey!" He yelled, I continued to ignore him, but before I knew it, I was pushed against a tree, he was in front of me holding me there as our kids stopped behind him watching us. I couldn't meet his eyes so I looked at the ground with my head to my right. "Belle you are safe now." I shake my head, still not meeting his eyes. "What you did, that is normal, it's my fault I should have had Alice see ahead or me watch out before I stopped you. This isn't on you, your only an hour old Belle."

"No." I say breathing out a tad, but I don't breath in, air was lost in my lungs now, the more I speak the more I loose. I finally look him in the eyes, "Your safe to breath." I shake my head, to afraid to do anything else. Then he hugs me, my neck goes into his collarbone, I finally take a small breath in, his scent calmed me down, I relaxed in his arms, my hands wrapping around his back.

I take more deep breaths until I was fully calm. When is as he stepped back, "I'm sorry for the way I acted kids." "It's understandable mom." Rose said with a smile. They all hug me, Jasper still stiff and watching me carefully. "What you just did was awesome." Emmett said, "What do you mean?" I ask him, "Mom, you just left mid hunt from a family, your a newborn and even old vampires have a hard time doing that." "I don't understand." Jasper said angry, my head snapped to him, "What's wrong hunny?" "How can you be talking? You haven't eaten anything. You left mid hunt aren't you hungry?" He asks stunned, the burning sensation filled my neck, but I was able to control it.

"Amazing." Edward said, "What hun?" "Nothing just find something appealing." He said with a smile, I closed my eyes and heard a lion not far away so I started to run towards it, the family stayed a ways away. I then was in the woods, I waited then pounced, breaking it's neck completely I drank from him. When I was done just seconds later I looked at my family wiping my face with a smile.

"Good job. There is a bear a mile away!" Emmett said excited. I smile and ran after it next to him, we got in front of the family then waited, a second one appeared. I look at him with a smile, "I call the male." He says, I nod, then I jump at the female, breaking that neck to I started to drink from it, a minute later I was done. When I looked up I saw Emmett look up from his bear, he had slight blood on his mouth, "Have the rest of it, you need it more then me." He says, "Really?" He nods with a smile, I jump over to this one and drink firm it.

Within a few seconds it was gone. "There is a bunch of deer in the next field were we all can hunt." Alice says we start heading over, "Why am I still hungry?" I ask, "Because you are a newborn mom, they drink more then older vampires." Rose said, when we got there we all jumped at one, I ate 2 before I was done so I jumped into a tree and watched the others hunt.

Carlisle stopped what he was doing and looked at me. He then jumped up in front of me. "You full?" I nod, "Yeah. I feel much better now." He smiles, "You can hunt some more." He nods and kisses me then went over to another deer. I watched for an hour until everyone was done then we all ran back to our house. "So do I have to hang out here all summer?" I asked as we sit on the couch. "I don't know, it seems like you have super self control like me." Carlisle said, I nod.

"Ok." I nod, I guess that was better then nothing. "Can I try something?" He asks me, "What is it?" I ask, "I have some blood stored here in case you hurt yourself, I wanna put the blood in a cup and I want to see how long you can hold back." I nod slowly. "We won't let you have a drop of it, we have some animal blood stored here to." I nod, "Is everyone ok with that?" Carlisle asks, they all nod. I take a deep breath and hold it, he sets a cup on the coffee table in front of me and begins pouring out the blood. I stare at it as he does so Emmett and Jasper gets behind me.
