It was during my first year in college when I discovered I had super powers. One day, I was early, as usual in school, for I was going to review for the scheduled quizzes. I should explain that I was trying to start my college life right. I was wearing my carefully-ironed school uniform and black high-heeled shoes. Though there wasn't a classmate or a friend around yet, I was still my poised-self who had no intention in loitering in the corridors that's why I decided to spend a productive morning in the library which was situated at the lower ground floor of the CAS building to review my notes.
As I held on to the railing and carefully descended on the second step, I accidentally hooked my left foot at the back of my right foot and I skidded from the second step down to the ground of the library. I was trying to stop myself from falling using both hands as breaks but I was like superman only that I wasn't flying. I could even hear the "thudding sound" as I came tumbling down from one step to another! It was a hilarious scene! It's a good thing that no one was there yet at the entrance of the library. So, even if my body was aching from the bad fall that I had, I immediately stood up and dragged myself up back to the ground floor of the CAS building. I was hoping I could get to the school clinic before anyone would see me limping. I couldn't even comprehend myself why I hooked my feet together.
Just as I was turning to the connecting corridors to the other building, my crush (of all people, it's my crush!) was about to pass by me. I was trying to walk as normal as possible and not give him any idea that I was limping when he suddenly looked at my right leg and smiled. He continued walking though. When he passed by already, I looked down at my right leg and found out that I had a big wound and blood was dripping down from it. It was truly embarrasing! I ran as fast as I could before anyone else would see my gash again.
