It was the next day. The sun was blazing in the sky. Theo had just left home. It has been a month since he joined the company. He was still madly in love with Linda.

Since Linda was Theo's working partner, they had built a strong bond together over the past few weeks.

Since they both liked pancakes, they would meet up before work started to eat at the restaurants that served the best pancakes they know. They would chat while eating and get to know each other. They would also see if they had anything in common.

There was one time where Linda suddenly felt something... special and different with Theo.

It was a Wednesday morning. It was about 6.40 am. Theo and Linda agreed to meet for breakfast. The sky was still dark and the sun was still rising. Linda arrived at the restaurant first and waited for Theo. She looked outside the window and was rethinking her childhood moments where laughter was common and smiling wasn't fake. The smile she had to everyone was all fake. She was trying to forget the death of her mother by smiling, but it simply didn't work. She recalled the way her mother died.

It was a sunday afternoon. The sky was rather cloudy and Linda was getting ready to go for a job interview. She left the house without saying good bye to her mother. She drove to the workplace for the interview. Her name was called immediately as there was no one interviewing for the position at that time. She showed her grades and she had excelled in math and science. She was immediately accepted to the role she was interviewing for. She thanked the interviewers and went out with fast steps. After she had left the workplace, she was delighted! She grinned from ear to ear and was elated.

Just as she thought that she was having the best day ever, things quickly went down hill.

While walking to her car, she recieved a phone call from an unknown number. She answered it and wondered who it could be.

It was the hospital. The hospital called to tell Linda that her mother had died from a car accident. Upon hearing this, Linda's heart felt like it had been stabbed. Up til now, no one has been able to heal this broken wound.

Many tried to cheer her up by buying her gifts and taking her to places, but it did not work. The amount of regret and remorse was overwhelming her.

She often thought to herself "Why didn't I say goodbye atleast 1 more time? It takes seconds to say it."

The guilt was trapping her. She couldn't forgive herself for it.

As Linda was wildly thinking back into the past, Theo had arrived.

He saw the blank look in Linda's face  and asked "hey, are you alright?" Just then, Linda snapped back to the present and responded in an upset tone, "yea I'm fine."

Theo was still skeptical about Linda, so he asked again, "hey Linda, it's okay. You can tell me what happened. I'll be by you no matter what."

When Linda heard that, she felt a sense of calming. Something was different. When others said it, she didn't feel better. But when Theo said it, it was special. Linda felt comfortable with him. It was a feeling like no other.

She told him what had happened. Theo could imagine the pain she was in and said, "it's okay. It's not your fault. You didn't know it would happen. Dont blame yourself alright?"

When Linda heard that, she felt relieved from the trap she was in. For once, she felt free. She also felt something about Theo. Something special and astonishing. He was the first person that made her feel happy, free and lively. There was something about him which was very different from other men. Was it love? Or was it just because he made me feel free? Linda thought to herself.

Theo saw the blank look Linda had again and asked, "are you still thinking about your mother?" Linda said suspiciously "nope."

"Let's eat. Food is here." Theo said. They ate and had a conversation about love.

Love is a special and strong feeling. It can't be describe. It's a feeling too strong to understand. The amount of sacrifice one is willing to put in to the other one they love is uncountable. They will do anything for them. Whether be it dying to get them saved.
