I wanted to surprise India, so I ain't tell her I got my license. She said pull up, so I decided I'd pull up.

But I did make a group chat with Lex, Tat and Ju. I named it 'Bunch a'niggas'

Yas: y'all ready for the cookout tomorrow 😏

Lex: ayeeee my Nigga my Nigga!

Ju: okay hot wheels! Hell yea. Yo pops making ribs right?

Oh shit, I completely forgot to tell my dad.

"Pops.." I said looking up from my phone. He was driving us home.

"Wassup?"

"I might've told my friends we'd have a cook out if I got my license."

He looked over at me for a second. The man loves to grill so I knew it wasn't necessarily a problem, his buddy's from work was probably gonna come over anyway. I knew he was probably just like 'damn, we just had one last week'

"Aight Yas." He chuckled.

"You gonna make some ribs right?"

He laughed "Lemme guess you asking for Ju? Tell him I said yea."

Tat: Oou come pick me up 😋

I Ignored the message.

Yas: yea he making ribs.

When I got home I took a shower and got dressed. I figured I could go ahead and put on what I'm a wear to the club even if I'm just chilling with India for a minute.

I looked in the mirror. Damn, I wanna get my hair done again. Nothings wrong with it, I'm just ready for a switch up.. but I don't know, Tat been acting sus lately.

I sprayed myself down in cologne and grabbed my phone and my keys.

I called India when I was 4 minutes away.

"Hey baby, I'm bout to pull up"

She squealed a little "aww, yay... okay let me throw some clothes on, I just got out the shower."

"Aight."

I pulled up into her yard like I normally do. I could see before I got out the girl, some girl was sitting on the porch slumpt over.

Ughh, I really hate that she living here. This shit weird.

I stood leaning against my car waiting for her to come out. I ain't want to stand on the porch cause of the girl.

She came out of the house and looked over at the girl slumping over.

She walked up to me trying to make sure she didn't react to the girl.

"Congratulations!" She said giving me a big hug.

"Thank you." I kissed her.

"So this is officially your car?" She smiled.

"Yep. It's all mine.... uhh is that girl up there okay?"

She sighed like she didn't want to talk about it.

"Honestly, I use to worry about her every time she was like this... but one time she had an episode and tried to stab me with her needle. Now I leave that bitch alone. Fuck her."
