I had finally gotten all my stuff out of the apartment Darni and I shared and finally settled into my new place. She had attempted talking to me several times but I just couldn't even stand her at this point. Work was going great, I had passed my set target for that year meaning that I could go to work or not, either way I would still get paid and I was finally living right.
I had decided to go shopping just to make sure that I had a self care day for myself, since it was a much needed thing.
After spending almost my entire day at the mall, I decided to go home. I was so lost on my phone that I ended up bumping into someone.
"Oh, I'm sorry", I said. As I picked up some of my stuff that had fallen out of my hands.
"No, it's my fault", he said as he reached down and started picking up my bags.
"Thanks", I said as I got up and finally made contact with him.
Ooh for fucks sake.
"So are you now stalking me!", I found myself yelling.
"Coco, calm down. You have been dodging my calls and there was no way I could get to you. I'm sorry for stalking you", he said.
"Okay Maleek what do you want", I said my voice sounding very nonchalant and I could detect the pain in his eyes but he played it very cool.
But he did deserve it. He hurt me so much.

"A chance to apologize to you", he said. Kicking me back to reality.
"I'm not about to do this Maleek, leave me alone", I said as I rolled my eyes and tried walking past him.
"Wait", he said as he got hold of my arm and spinned me so that I was only a few inches from him.
I couldn't help but notice how nice he smelled.
He smelt so freaking good. How I missed his scent.
Gurl get it together.
I quickly straightened myself and tried to play it off but from the smirk that creeped from the corner of his lips I already knew that he saw me.
"Let's just go out for dinner and talk about everything and if you still feel the same way I will leave you alone. For good this time", he said. He held no expression at all and it made it really hard for me to know if he really meant that he'd actually leave me alone for good.
But that's what I wanted right? But why did it sting like that.
I shook my head trying to distract it from those words.
"Fine, I'll go out for dinner with you", I said sighing heavily.
"Alright then, I'll pick you up at 8 o'clock", he said as his face light up with excitement.

At Coco's place....
I had gone over everything single outfit I owned but neither one of them looked appealing to me.
I was was feeling a bit anxious about meeting Maleek in a different setting because I had spent so much time hating him and I was so surprised when I actually agreed to have dinner with him.
The last time Maleek and I went out on a date, it didn't end so well but we also shared pretty steamy moments. Just thinking back to that moment gave me butterflies.
Damn it was Coco, what is wrong with you. You can't be thinking about him like that. He hurt you remember that.
I finally settled on the dress I was going to wear and did some light makeup and after about an hour I was ready.
I had texted Maleek earlier and told him that I'd meet him at his place so we could go together. I didn't want to be in a awkward car ride with him.

I finally reached to his place. It looked great as before.
"Hey, you look beautiful", he said as he opened the door and ushered me in.
"Thanks", I said as I gave him a light smile, trying to hide my blushing face.
Get it together Coco.
I gave myself a "pep talk" before setting in on his couch.
"Can I get you something to drink?", he asked me drawing me back to reality.
He looked nervous. I couldn't help but smile a little. I made him nervous.
"Just a glass of wine is fine with me", I said.
He disappeared and came back with a bottle of wine in his hand. He looked so fine in his black silk shirt, with two of his buttons undone giving you a peak of his well built chest. His black pants, gave me a glimpse of how fine his ass looked in those pants. I couldn't help but take in how good he really looked.
I trailed my eyes from his chest down to his pants where his buldge was visible. Those pants were holding on just right.

"If you are done, my eyes are up here now", he said. He had a smirk on his face and it made me feel embarrassed that he had seen me check him out.
My face was heating up with embarrassment. I wanted the earth to just open up and swallow me alive.
"Here" , he said as he handed me a glass of wine.
"It's okay to admire someone Coco", he said.
The way my named rolled out of his tongue, just made me go crazy.
His voice, deeper as ever. Was this man always this fine.
Snap out of it Coco.
"So, what time are we supposed to leave",I asked Trying to change the topic. I had to distract my mind from all those thoughts I had about him.
"Straight to the point I see", he said as he gulped his drink.
"Yeah, no need to waste any time", I said as I followed and gulped down my drink too, handing him the glass.
"Alright then, shall we go?", he said as he picked up his jacket and put out his arm for me but I wasn't about to let him off the hook that easy.
"No thank you, I can walk on my own", I said as I walked towards the door. Making sure I swayed my hips with just the right amount of force and sexy. I didn't want to make it so obvious.
He caught on to what I was doing and heard him give out a little grunt as he closed the door.

The ride to the restaurant was very much relaxing. I had turned on the radio and sang to almost every song that came on. We had a light conversation but you could still sense the tension between us. We finally arrived at the restaurant, his restaurant, of course.
"Welcome Mr. Maleek, your table is right this way", said a waiter as he led us to our table.
After we settled in, we ordered our dinner. Maleek kept the conversation light, the tension between us was really out there and it made me really uncomfortable. We needed to address the issue that brought us here.
"So, you and Darni really fucked", I said as I took a sip of my wine.
It went silent for a while.
He's probably creating a bunch of lies to tell you Coco. Don't fall for it.
"I first want to deeply apologize for hurting you the way I did", he said as he broke off the silence.
"Yeah sure", I scoffed rolling my eyes as I reached down for my drink.
When I looked up, my eyes were met with his, his stare gave me goosebumps.
He wasn't angry, his stare was so lustrous and it made me want him to fuck me on that table.
Damn bitch, I know you haven't gotten none in a while but remember that he hurt you.
Yeah, that part. I couldn't help but feel angry. The thought of Darni all over him, made me so angry that I didn't notice that I was squeezing my glass so hard that it broke and shuttered in my hand.
"Oh, shit", I said as I quickly averted my eyes off him to my now bleeding hand.
"Are you okay?", he asked as he came to where I was sitted.
The waiters were quick to clean up the mess.
"Yeah, I'm fine", I said as I got up from my seat.
"Your hand is bleeding", he said. His face was filled with concern and worry.
It felt nice, to have someone care about me.
"It's nothing, I'm fine. I need some air", I said as I walked past him and headed outside.
"Coco, wait.. Damn it!", he said as he followed up quickly behind me.
