I didn't pick her up today. I want to prepare myself for tomorrow. Not for a live concert. Not for a state of the nation's address. and definitely not for a thesis defense, which I could proudly say that I'm good at.
I am preparing for what to say to her tomorrow. You think it's easy? Dude! Set your mind straight! This is Hannah! The girl I loved for almost two years. Two years, tomorrow.
But I want to do this gently, not to do anything that might offend her.
I took a pen and a notebook. Scripted? Yes. I just want to be careful with my words.
After 2 hours...
I crumpled the 18 draft that I wrote. None of what he wrote satisfied him. How the heck was he going to say it?
Phone rings.

Voice message. From Marcus.
"Lance, I know you're there. I don't know what's happened to you and Hannah but I hope you don't hurt her. I know you're a smart person. You always have a way of fixing things. It's your magic. Please don't make my bestfriend suffer too much. I love her too. But not as much as you do." End.
And I hereby declare myself guilty. How could he possibly say that? Is my lack of love that pretty obvious that he really has to slap it in my face? I can't be sure. We really have to talk.
