Sorry for the late update. I have been sick for the past few days and have been sleeping for most of the time. I'll try to get back on track but today's chapter may be released a day later along with tomorrow's.

After thinking for almost a week, I decided to consult Phil about the whole present situation. It wasn't like I didn't know the person enough to find a good present for them. It was just...

I looked down at the paper again.

 'Technoblade'

I hurt him in the past, and not just once. I betrayed him and I know this too. No matter how dense I am, over the years I realized how much betrayal really hurts and what it means. But even so, I couldn't bring myself to apologize. I was afraid. Afraid that he wouldn't forgive me, afraid that I would lose him forever.

I still remember how he protected me from Dream, how happy I was when he stepped in front of me, blocking Dream. I remember our argument during Doomsday War. I still remember the sadness that he had hidden beneath his anger. I remember telling him that the discs were more important, and I remember the disappointment that flashed in his eyes after I said this.

I regretted it. I regretted it a lot, but I couldn't bring myself to say it to his face.

But maybe now is my chance. My chance to finally tell him I'm sorry, to finally ask him to forgive me. So this time, I need to do it right!

Asking Phil for help was the best option. He knew both me and Techno best. He knew of our history, of our friendship, our fights, and our arguments. He knew because he had been there all along, taking care of both of us.

So I braced myself and set out to see Phil, hoping that I could avoid Techno for the moment.

I arrived after walking for a good hour, only to be greeted by loud arguing that was heard from the inside.

"Hey, Tommy!" Skeppy greeted as he sat on the stairs.

"Hi, Skeppy. What's going on in there?" Is this the start of another war?

"I have no idea, but apparently, they have been at it since yesterday morning."

"They have been arguing for a day?!" The two people that I have never seen arguing were now having a fight?

"Well, that's what the green guy said when he gave my coffee a while ago." He said, pointing at the still steaming coffee in his hand.

 "Green guy?"

 "Dream." He clarified

"Dream was here?!" Why was that guy hanging around- "No, never mind, I don't care."

It's none of my business. I didn't come here for Dream. I should stay out of it.

"You are a lot calmer," Skeppy remarked.

"I have been practicing lately. But, anyway, why are you here?"

"I'm looking for Techno. He promised to go hunting with me." He pointed at the hunting gear next to him.

"Should we stop them?" I asked, glancing at the door.

"Someone should, but I don't want to risk my life just for that."

"I have to agree on that one." But the who-?

"Hey, guys!" Just then a cheerful voice came from behind us.

 "Connor!" We shouted in unison.

 "What's with the enthusiasm?"

"Your timing is great!" Skeppy said smilingly.
