The snow had covered the past ruins of L'Manberg. Wherever you looked all you could see was white and smooth. L'Manberg's ruins were abandoned long ago. People had moved on and settled elsewhere, leaving behind nothing but a snowy hole, a frozen lake, and the construction that had caused all this.

L'Manberg had been left completely undisturbed for the past few years, as no one was willing to rebuild the nation that had suffered the same fate twice. Everyone decided to give up on it and leave it behind as an old memory never to be forgotten. The hole was never filled up, instead, the bottom was filled with water and was now frozen solid from the winter cold.

The flags that once stood for freedom, liberty, and peace, were no more, and only one last flag was left standing in the middle of this frozen lake, left as a memento for this fallen nation and the memories that lived with it.

Today was a day like any other as L'Manberg remained quiet and peaceful as always. It was the first of December and more snow had fallen last night as if announcing the official start of winter.

Although the center of L'Manberg was was quiet, the borders were anything but that. On all sides of the fallen nation's borders, you could see horses nearing, being ridden by men with a solemn face. They were all heading in the same direction, approaching the pit that was once a great city.

They all got off their horses after arriving at the edge and went down the hole, some climbing, some using ropes, or just simply jumping down. They gathered around the flag that had been ripped by the harsh winter winds as they looked at each other with clear vigilance, only murmuring to their close friends in a low voice.

The last ones to arrive were a pink-haired man and a blonde with wings. They had come from the far north and although the blond could have arrived here much faster, he still accompanied his old friend on his long journey and arrived late along with him. The air seemed to have cooled down as the two landed on the frozen surface and the murmurs also stopped. They were all looking at the two who had come late. Some were looking at them with a cold expression, some were happy to see them and then there were those who didn't seem to care much. This all changed however as they spotted another person behind the latecomers.

A masked man in a green hoodie walked behind the pink-haired man, mostly hidden in the red cloak that was draped over his shoulders. His presence caused the whole mood to change and now there were a whole lot more people glaring.

"Why is he here?!" The first one to start speaking was a young blonde. His voice was loud but it was shaking although it was unknown if it was shaking from fear or anger.

"How dare you?! How dare you bring him here, after everything?! It's hard enough to tolerate you, Technoblade, but you had the guts to bring that bastard along!" The second one to speak was a green-haired man, his eyes equally green were glaring at the newcomers.

"Why wouldn't I have the guts to bring him along? Are you looking for a fight, Sam? I'm always up for it you know." Technoblade's voice was filled with sarcastic laughter as he answered the green-haired man, his hand already on his sword, ready to fight.

But in the end, there was no fight as the winged man stepped in between the two stopping them from drawing their weapons and going at it right here and now.

"That's enough! We didn't come here to fight, so both of you, put away your weapons this instant!" You had to say, this man was pretty persuasive. Both of them put away their weapons and just continued to glare at each other. Strangely though, none of the hate was directed at the blonde who had stopped the fight.

"Phil is right, we didn't come here to fight!" At the sudden moment of peace, a brown-haired young man jumped out from the back of the crowd, followed by a tall man in a cloak that was hiding his face.
