England Base June 5, 1944

U.S Airborne: "Hey Sarge how much longer are we going to be here anyway?"

It shows a group of Airborne soldiers sitting around as the leader of the group Josh Knight was at the command center. As his men were listening to music they found it on the radio.

Sargent: "Soon when that radio will give us good music"

Josh: "Hey everyone gathers up your gears and head to the briefing room. It will start in 5 minutes move!"

Five minutes later.

Josh: "Thirty minutes ago six thousand British and American ships left ports in England bound for France."

It shows the briefing room pack of Josh men there as he was standing to the side of the projector as it shows the map of Normandy.

Josh: "At oh six hundred hours General Barton's men are going to hit the beach in small craft with no cover. Their survival depends on us. The navy cannot supply fire support for the beach landing until a German battery of shore guns has been neutralized. The guns receive firing coordinates from an inland fortification network.

We must cripple enemy communications by destroying this key radar antenna. We must also disable the spotting tower, we take out the enemy's eyes and ears they got no chance. S-two and S-three predict we'll encounter enemy armor in this operation to that end we're dropping M-eighteen bundles near the DZ.

Airborne we are about to play a pivotal role in the downfall of Nazi oppressions good luck."

After finishing the briefing all the men then gather their helmets and gear and head out of the briefing room. Seeing his men leaving the room Josh then looks at the map of the area they are landing smiling at this Josh looked at his helmet knowing the war will soon come to an end.

A Few Moments later

It shows 430 aircraft flying over the sea as it shows the Navy going to the beaches while the C-47s were traveling to the land of France ready to drop the Airbornes to the ground. But inside the C-47 Josh's group of men were talking as one was saying that he will shot Hitler in the head to bring the end to the war.

Some talked about the loved ones that they left home and once the war is finished they will return to their wives and start a family together. But for Josh, he never had a girl back home all he cared about was the family that he left in Texas after his Great Grandfather James Knight moved there after the America Civil War.

*Snap*

Josh was snapped out of his thoughts as he saw a photographer taking pictures of him as he was sitting near the plane's window.

Mort: "Hey Mort Chase Captain. I'm a photographer taking a picture for you guys"

Josh: "Well hope you be taking pictures of them. Pretty sure they want their faces on Newspaper headlines"

Mort: "Oh those guys Captain I took a lot of pictures of them. Can I get a couple of pictures of you looking out of the window?"

Josh: "Sure. I don't mind."

As Mort ready his camera he took a couple of pictures of Josh sitting in his seat watching out of the window of the C-47.

Mort: "Thanks Captain once we get out of this war I'll send the prints to you."

Josh: "No problem."

As soon Mort leaves Josh alone he then watches the sunset of the sea where the Navy takes the troops on the beaches. But soon this day will forever change Josh as he went into a world of the unknown.
