Knight James Report: "The Burn Village"

Gettysburg

James POV

I was walking around the field of Gettysburg as I see bodies of the rebels and my men on the floor. Blood on the grass weapons on the ground and crates everywhere as I took off my hat and place it on my chest showing my respect to the brave men's who fought for the Union army and for the Freedom of this torn nation.

Wounded Solider: "Argh it hurts!"

Wounded Solider 2: "Momma! I want to go home."

I hear my wounded troops screaming and yelping in pain in the medicals tents as nurses and doctors were treating them as I see my men were dragging the dead in the line as I look down knowing how heartbroken to see the family's to hear that their sons, fathers, and husband died fighting in this bloody war.

??: "Captain James."

I looked up and see my sergeant running towards me as I place my hat on and turned to him as he saluted me.

James: "What is it Sergeant?"

Sergeant: "General Hancock is requesting your presences' sir."

No one POV

General Tent

As James made his way to the General tent James saluted to the general.

James: "Captain James Knight sir you were wanting to see me?"

General Hancock: "ah James yes I was requesting for you."

The General walked to the table map that he have in his tent as James follow the General as Hancock speak out.

General Hancock:" we got reports that we may be suspecting the Confederates counter-attacks, so they may take Gettysburg."

 James: "I see..... Go on general."

General Hancock: "So after 2 days of planning I wanted you and your men to see if the Rebels are planning a counter-attack. If they are, I want you to get rid of it am I understood?"

James: "Yes sir I will send a word to my men."

General Hancock: "Good luck Captain....."

Few days later...

It shows James riding his horse in the front of his men while they were marching in the forest outside of Gettysburg as James turn his head behind his men as they have their musket resting on their shoulder as they march with him. Not seeing any rebels James then stop his horse along with his men stopping as James turns to them and spoke out to them.

James: "Since we march for 3 days straight we will make camp any question?"

No one said a word as this made the troops took a breath of relief as James smiled at his men as they began setting up camp until.

Union Soldier: "AHH!"

This made everyone stop what they are doing as they grabbed their weapons and took aimed as they see a portal sucking up some group of men into as this made the soldiers panic as James see this his eyes widen seeing his men being sucked into a portal.

James: "What the hell is that....."

Before he could say anything his horse then began yelping in fear as the portal sallow James and his horse. Into a world that he has never been before.
