We all sat in silence.

"wait."

My head shot up.

"What, dex?!"

Hope fluttered inside me.

Maybe he had a good idea!

"What if sophie could teleport to different universes?"

Sophie's head shot up.

"You're right! Let's try it!"

They all jumped.

"Who are you?!"

Tam said, glaring holes into me.

I sighed.

"I'm the writer of the fanfic you're in! You idiot."

Silence.

"Oh whatever. Just pick one of the portals, when you're done call for me and I'll take you back to the portal room and you can pick a new one."

"Where do they take you to?"

Sophie asked.

"Different alternate universes. Now BYE!"

I vanish.

"Well- I say we pick that one!"

I pointed to a scarlet red portal.

Before anyone could say anything, I jumped in.

I landed on the ground with a thud.

There was a note next to me.

Hey, so I'm assuming if you're reading this, you've entered the red portal.

Lucky for you,

It's nothing that bad.

An alternate universe where yall are humans!

With Sophie gone, we began to panic.

She still wasn't coming back.

Fitz was just staring into space,

Keefe was pacing around the room,

Dex had began fidgeting with a gadget,

Marella was burning the walls(They regenerated for some crazy reason),

And Biana looked ready to punch something.

I leant onto my twin for comfort.

"How about we just pick a portal?"

It took me a few seconds to realize Fitz had said it.

"Really? But wouldn't that be dangerous?"

He shook his head.

"No, because the girl from before said we could ask to come back. Meaning if Sophie hasn't come back yet, It's safe."

I bit my lip.

"Or she could be dead."

Biana said, shooting her brother a cold glare.

Both seemed equally likely.

I leapt out of Tam's arms. 

Spotting a gold portal, I grabbed Marella's arm and jumped in.

I could practically hear Tam's curses as we landed down on the ground.

"Why- why'd you do that?"

My cheeks flushed.

"Sorry- I just wanted to get out of there."

"That doesn't explain why you dragged me here too."

I sighed.

"Do you think I would hop into some mysterious portal on my own?"

She sighed.

"You could have brought Tam."

"He would have called Astrid the second we got here."

She nodded.

"That makes sense I guess. But still."

"Come on."

But as I stood, I tripped on something.

As my face flopped on the pavement,

Marella giggled.

"Wait, what's this?"

(insert same note as sophie's but with linh and marella, aka team future AU :>)

As she read it out to me, my mind broke out in thought.

If we were in a future AU...then...

I gasped.

"SHIIIIPS!"
