While on the drive Noelle was eager to apologize to Asta for angering him earlier but had a feeling she would anger him even more. Asta didn't talk to Noelle at all while on the drive, the entire time in the car it was quiet only their breathing could be heard. Noelle stole glances at Asta to see if his mood he changed and when she saw he had a soft look she had thought it was the right moment to speak but then Asta spoke before she could

Asta:Noelle I know you've been wanting to apologize to me, am I right?

Noelle:y-yeah I have for a while now... Asta I'm sor-

Asta:save it, like I said I don't wanna hear it, just do me a favor and forget what told you alright

Noelle:yeah

Asta:anyways I'm kinda hungry again

Noelle:yeah me too actually

Asta:wanna get some fast food?

Noelle:aren't they all closed?

Asta:not all of them, there's one around here I think that closes around 12 and it's currently 11

Noelle:well then what are you waiting for? Let's go

Once Asta and Noelle made it to the drive thru and placed their order they waited patiently for their food for around 5 minutes In silence just listen to the cars engine

While in the car Asta suddenly got a phone call from a number which he knew who it was

Asta:what is it?

Magna:what can't I call to ask if you wanna celebrate your birthday by hitting the bar for some drink maybe pick up some girls, me and finral are here?

Asta:would love to but can't today

Magna:oh? Why's that?

Asta:I don't have to explain myself to you

Magna:fine, but anyways happy birthday you bastard

Asta:thanks jackass

Asta hangs up and looks over to Noelle who was visibly confused

Asta:sorry about that just got a call from a friend

Noelle:was it something important?

Asta:no he just asked if I wanted to go to the bar for some drinks and possibly some girls

Hearing that Noelle felt slight sadness

Noelle:s-so why'd you turn him down?

Asta:cause I'm here with you

Noelle:oh, I-I see

Looked out the window facing away from asta not allowing him to see how happy that made her or how much it got her smiling but what Noelle didn't know was that Asta could see her smile from the reflection of the window which admittedly made Asta chuckle to himself

After another minute the two finally got their food and they drove off to find a good place to eat but then Noelle thought of something but was a bit nervous to say

Noelle:h-hey why don't we head to m-my apartment to eat since you can't find a good place for us to park?

Asta:are you sure?

Noelle:yeah, I don't live that far from here probably just 20 minutes away, plus this is Yuno's car so wouldn't he be mad if you got it dirty?

Asta:I don't think he'll care if it's dirty or not I'm sure he'll just be happy I didn't sell it, but yeah why not I'm tired of sitting in a car, where do you live?
