Erica woke up one rainy day to a text message from her parents. The message said:
'Erica we're tired of you and decided to take a break. Your babysitter will be there in about 10 minutes so hopefully you wake up from this message. We all know how much you like to sleep in so hopefully you actually get up. Give them the list of rules that I have on the table. If we find out that you have broken any of these rules then you will be in more trouble than normal. Oh! By the way we will be gone for a month'
Once Erica read this message she rolled her eyes and rolled out of bed and onto her feet. She walked over to her closet and grabbed some skinny black jeans and a red tank top. As well as her black beanie hat. For shoes she just kept it casual and grabbed a red pair of Crocs out of her closet. When she was dressed she walked downstairs and sat on the couch with her earbuds in. It was playing songs from her phone and she watched the door. Waiting for the new person that was supposed to watch a 12-year-old for the month her parents would be gone.
