Today was the day. Angel Dust was packing his things. He was finally checking out of the hotel and going home. Fat Nuggets happily oinked as he dragged his own little blanket to the bag his owner used for his things. Angel Dust smiled and put it away. His pet was one of the few things he truly cared for. As he was cleaning up, a knock came at the door. Charlie and Vaggie walked in. He waved with one of his hands. Charlie smiled and handed him a certificate with her signature. It was proof that Angel Dust had gone through rehabilitation and made significant progress toward redemption. Vaggie gave him a gift bag (catered to his personal preferences) and informed him that his ride was waiting outside to take him home. Angel Dust smiled and picked up his things. Staying at the hotel had been more fun than he had initially thought. But now it was time to go home. He had a lonely girlfriend waiting for him.

It didn't take long to reach home. Angel Dust gave the driver a few extra bucks to get him there faster. He let himself into a quiet house. For a moment, he was worried. Then he heard the sound of water running from the master bedroom upstairs. Cherri Bomb was in the shower. Angel Dust sat in the living room and patiently waited. He hadn't told her that he was coming home today. He had also asked Charlie and Vaggie not to tell her. He didn't have to wait long. Cherri Bomb came downstairs after half an hour. She froze seeing him in the living room. With a cry of joy, she tackled and hugged him. Angel Dust laughed and hugged her with all of his arms.

After all the hugs and kisses Cherri Bomb got up to make him something to eat. Angel Dust smiled and started unpacking in the meantime. Food was on the table when he returned to the first floor and sat down. It was good to be home. She filled a plate and set the food on the table. She then filled his glass while he happily ate. After eating they sat on the couch and talked about his time at the hotel. It had really helped him become better. And now he had a real future.
