A month had gone by. Stolas stood in front of his home. He took a deep breath and knocked. Stella looked out the window and frowned. She opened the door and crossed her arms. Stolas immediately apologized. He finally understood how uncomfortable had been making Blitzo and how much he had hurt his wife and daughter. After the sincere apology, he asked where Octavia was. Apparently, she was staying with friends for a while. Stella wasn't going to let Stolas see her until he proved himself to her first. He understood. His wife let him in. She would be keeping a close eye on him from now on. He had lost her trust. And it was going to be utter Hell to earn it back.
The next day Stolas invited Blitzo to lunch. While eating, he apologized for his unwanted and unwelcomed behavior. Blitzo accepted the apology and the two made up. Stolas paid the bill and the two went their separate ways after some business talk. Stolas was finally on the right path. Still, he knew it would take more than this to redeem himself. But for now, this was a good start. It would be a long road but he had to do this. For himself and for his family. He had to think of a way to make things right with Stella and Octavia. Stolas knew it wouldn't be easy. He had cast them aside for so long. As he walked home, he thought about what he could do for them. Then he got it. He made a detour and picked up tickets to his wife and daughter's favorite concert scheduled for the following week. Then he bought several ingredients. Tonight, dinner would be on him. Of course, one couldn't simply buy forgiveness. But this was a small step in the right direction.
