Chapter Three

I kept walking through out the next day with a black hoodie over my head to avoid unnecessary attention, I was rethinking checking into a hotel cause I felt it's quite risky, and the last thing I wanted was police intervention, cause that's what I felt it may all lead to. I felt I'd had enough drama for one day and didn't need anymore. Just imagine, me a casual teenage daughter of a drug dealer and that of a victim of abuse (Arike), now I'm practically an orphan. I still couldn't settle it that Deji was dead and I killed him.
I walked a great distance through the city, the whole day and I was so tired, I didn't know why I was so scared to use a dime from the money with me. I walked further, it was getting dark again, I needed to know the time, I brought out my smartphone to check the time, it was already 8pm, I looked around to know where I was, I sighted a huge billboard on a building with the name blue inferno. I mouthed the name cause it sounded cool to me. Before I knew it my phone was snatched from my hand and the culprit was already getting away.
"Hey!" I called him and started running after him. "Give me back my phone!!"
He darted into the huge club I was looking at, I ran behind him, the club was crowded, but I could still see him, he looked back to check if I was still following him, he saw that I was and kept running, I followed, pushing aside a lot of people.
"Hey!" I called at him, and collided with a lady who also collided with someone else. "Sorry"
"Ouch!" Came the cries.
"Sorryy"
"Hey!" A guy exclaimed when I pushed by him.
"Sorry"
"Who be this?!" Another person exclaimed.
"Sorry, excuse me please"
I soon sighted the guy with my phone and started moving towards him, some people fell again, we got to bar, he was running around the tables there, in order to get him, I ended up pushing a lot of tables down and broke many bottles and glass, it went on like that till we were finally getting lots of attention and then the realization of what we were doing came to us. Uh oh. This was bad.

One and half years later...
JUBRIL
I didn't know why I did, but when I saw the billboard of the club, blue inferno, I suddenly felt like going in, I felt I needed a drink or something, maybe flirt with one or two hookers and take home with. And plus it's been really long I had any fun since I got back, lots of responsibility put on me lately by my father. Getting a break couldn't be seen as a crime could it? A twenty four year old needs more to life than just work.
"Turn over at the U turn" I instructed my driver while I cruised at the back seat, he did as I said and soon we parked at the front of the club, I got down instructing the driver to drive home, I'll take an Uber home. When I went in, I first head towards the counter to get some drinks to start the night off, that was my club routine, before I found some hookers.
The bar counter was empty when I got there, not even the bartender was anywhere to be seen. I waited, while I looked around for some hookers, they were around, all beautiful and endowed and scantily dressed.
That was good, first let me get my drink and I'll come right to you.
"What should I get you?" I heard a chirpish voice say behind the counter. I turned, and the went like whoaaa, I didn't expect this, I ran my eyes over and over, well this was heck of a beauty, she wasn't as scantily dressed as the hookers but she looked hot, beautifully dark, killer almond shaped eyes, hot cute lips and such cute nose. She wasn't too tall but that's okay, her beauty was everything, she looked smallish too though.
"Hello oo" She raised her beautiful eyebrows in query. No smile whatsoever, okay I could see she was pretending not to be attracted to me, so I gave her one of my killer smiles, she rolled her eyes instead.
"What can I get for you" she repeated.
"Jubril" I blurted.
"What? Sorry we don't have any drinks like that, although I'll talk with the manager to see if he could find-"
"My name" I said again.
She looked more confused "ookayy?"
"Jubril is my name" I made things clearer by saying.
" Ok" she just said pursing her lips, obviously tired of me, but it did expose a dimple.wow. I thought. Cute. "Well I don't know if you want anything...?"
"I do need something though, I needed a hot chick to follow me home tonight, It was hard to choose on whom, but now I think I've made my choice on seeing you." I said giving her the look, her eyes flashed and she smiled and leaned forward, wow and all I needed to do was ask? So easy.
"Well I'm not sure that's what you need" she whispered sexily.
"Oh yeah?" I smirked, she nodded. " So what do I need"
She got serious " I think you need to get your doctor and have your head checked, cause you could be loosing it, seriously I think you're mad if you think I'm going to leave here with you tonight"
My eyes locked with hers, she looked straight back into mine fearlessly, if I hadn't looked away she wouldn't have.
Someone chuckled beside me, he seemed like he just came.
"Annie Annie" he hailed her and laughed, then he looked at me " No one messes with our Annie o, She won't take shit from anyone"
I looked back at her, she raised an intimidating eyebrow and shrugged. Wow, I chuckled, obviously impressed, she was something alright. Annie, I memorised her name in my mind while I glared at her which she returned.
