"Minhyung…" My mom cries when I stepped out of my car. "My son… I missed you so much."

"Hey, mom." I hug her back and as tight as I can to inhale her scent. "I missed you too."

"Oh my god, what would I do with this stubborness of yours?"

"Mom." I huff. "Can't we just talk about something else?"

I could feel her hot skin over my neck as she pulls away from the hug we shared and she sniffled. Her hands fell on my chest as she taps on it for a few times.

"How's my son doing?"

"I've been trying to survive by tutoring." I smile and also remembered how I got to met Donghyuck, his mother and his cheating father.

"Why don't you just come back—"

"Mom, please…" I groan. "If you're just going to talk about it then I want to go home."

"I'm just worried about you." She cries. "You know that your father will eventually find out where you've been hiding and he will make you come back by any means. By pleadings or by force and I don't want it to be the latter, son. Besides, tutoring doesn't offer you much—"

"But I'm contented with the little money I earn!" I argue. "I'm alone incase you forgot, mom."

"But it's still not the life that I wanted you to have, my son—"

"You know what? I'm just gonna go home." I gently push her away and sigh. "Nothing good comes to me whenever I step near your house."

"Son… Minhyung-ah…" She calls out when I went back into my car. I didn't mind her and continue what I was doing which is to start the car and finally sprint my way back home. To my apartment.

I'm so used to hearing that already and it just made me even more willing not to come back home anymore. With my mother's naggings which is for me to come back and with the contentment and happinesses with what I have now, are giving me the reasons to continue this life.

Free from the pressure of being the company's heir. That is what I'm running away from.

I parked the car and collapse on the seat with my head on the headrest. My legs shoot straight up as I sigh.

At the same moment, I saw Donghyuck coming out from the building. A small smile formed on my lips. He's cute with his large hoodie, his pyjamas and crocs. It's not the usual way he dresses but it is amazing.

I open the car and attempt to go out but then another figure appeared behind him which hugged Donghyuck from the back. He giggles. It was Jeno, smiling widely while holding Donghyuck. They look so happy and that made me go back to my car and lock it back.

The last time that I got to talk with Donghyuck was two weeks ago and that was because of the apple. After that, I became busy and he also got busy because their finals are coming up.

He'll be on his third year college next semester, and when that semester starts, he'll be 21. Oh, god, I don't even when his birthday is. I just know that every school year, his age changes. My guess is that, his birthday is in between May to August.

My heart aches in jealousy when finally, they disappeared out of my sight. Walking out hand in hand, and smiling next to each other.

The picture could've been better if I was there with you Donghyuck. I wish you want and would feel the same.

I sigh, and go out of my car. I peek if they're still visible but they're not anymore so I settled for just directly coming in and plopping to my bed.
