"The rain's pretty heavy…" Renjun sighs when he opened the windows. He slouched back beside Donghyuck and tapped him.
"The road's slippery by now." Jeno commented. "We should probably wait until it's—"
"Stay…" I huff, but then coil when I saw their confused faces.
My father chimes in with a smile. "Yeah. You can stay. I have a few rooms to spare."
"I don't think we can—"
"We can." Renjun cuts Jeno for the second time around. I even saw him give Jeno a big eyes. "We can stay the night. That's if… it's okay with Donghyuck."
"Eung?"
God… Can he stop making my heart flutter so much? He's so cute and it's making me want to keep him forever.
"I asked if it's okay that we'll stay the night here…" Renjun repeats while Donghyuck had his fingers twisted as he thinks.
I'm starting to notice things about him. He's not the usual brat that he is right now but I don't mind, I'm just wondering why he's being all cute and glitters. He's become a bit chubby now, but I like it even more. He's asking for weird things plus that night when he asked me for an apple. I don't hate it, I'm just asking myself why, even though I do not have answers for it.
He nodded his head cutely at Renjun's action. "Eung. Okay."
"That's nice." I chuckle to myself and made sure I'm not audible. What I'm sure of, is that I look like a fool in their eyes, while I smile my ass off.
"Let me just have it cleaned for a while. No one has really entered those rooms so—"
"We can share in one room together…" Jeno smiles to my father.
"Wouldn't it be stuffy?" I ask while disagreeing with him deep inside.
If they'd be together in one room, that means I can't talk to Donghyuck privately, later on. It's just the same thing as letting them go home for this night. I stood up and face them.
"We have enough rooms for all of you—"
"No." Donghyuck says. "We've already caused you trouble by staying the night. We are fine with sharing a room."
And how can I refuse when he's already the one who asked for it? Damn… Why did you have to step in, baby?
"Then, I'll go off and prepare the largest room." My father says kindly then went upstairs to go to the largest room that he has in his house, on the right, at the very last side of the hallway.
Now it's harder to find a chance to talk to Donghyuck because my room is on the left, last room from the stairs. I bit my lips in frustration and mentally slap myself for everything that has happened.
Why can't I just ask him for it?
One, Jeno would disagree. Two, Jeno would disagree, which means Renjun would disagree too. Three, if they refuse, then Donghyuck would disagree to that idea as well. And four, I don't have the courage.
After all I did, I don't think I still can face him with all smiles. I don't think I can see him without guilt evading my chest and anxiousness eating me up. Talking to him alone, probably isn't a good idea.
"Boys… The room's ready."
They all peacefully went with my father with all giggles and as much as I want to go with them, my legs and heart don't keep up. I'm worried Donghyuck might shut me off this time, especially now that I can see he's already happy with Jeno.
