Chapter 4: three demon brother stories

Third person pov

"Anyways I wanted to talk about mating season with you"

The air seems to tense as Mephisto spoke. He turned to them and gave a small smile. "He needs to know, and besides we don't even know if it will effect him, but it's better to be safe"
With all four demon's kings attention on him Rin wanted to curl up in a ball and disappear, he never really cares for attention like this. Sure he loved attention here or there and he would rather get attention then people hate him but this, this didn't sit well with him. Mephisto and Amionon seemed to notice this first. Amionon walked over to Rin and whispers into his ear.
"Its okay, there's nothing to be worried about. We just may be a little jealous, I mean you probably won't be effected by mating season the same way we will. But there's nothing to worry about." his voice seemed calm and his words where comforting. Rin nodded and pushed his body into Amionon.
"We all have different experaces with Mating season, and I guess that's why you wbated Lucifer here because he's the only one who particates everytime" Egyn said before Beelzebub could speak.
"Well I won't be much help then, I mean I never participated and I usually don't participate in out family things much either... I just like the cuddles" he said with a won't smile.
"We all have different experiences, and I wanted us to share them with Rin, he's not it brother and we will do what we can to help" Mephisto said ignoring the slight glare Egyn was giveing Amionon who Rin was still hugging.
"I mean we are brothers but Rin's the only one actually related to Satan. Even know we came from his powers our blood has no connection to Rin" Egyn pointed out leaving Mephisto to explain how sometimes siblings aren't blood-related but they are still siblings. Rain gave a small laugh and nodded his head. "Siblings sounds a lot better then non-blood related power-related family" he said with a laugh while saying what Mephisto said to Egyn to explain how they where technically siblings.

With that Egyn agreed to talk about his he usually participated or did during mating season. But first he took run to a rocky ledge over the ocean. Egyn had a soft smile on his face replacing the slightly nervous look he had before. Yet still even they he looked relatively calm.
"I usually don't participate, and when I do I'm usually one of the few that come to Assiah. I usually spend it with my kin that lives in the oceans and lakes around here. And when I'm not in the water I'm usually with one of my brothers. My favourite part of the mating season is that it makes my brothers a bit more clingy so they'll give me all the cuddles I want... But I do have to be careful they don't try to groom me, I get a rash from to much grooming much quicker than the others." he said giving a small smile.
"Thats so cool!" Rin yelled with excitement. "Whata grroming like? Is it like cats? Would that be disrespectful to ask if demons are like cats? I mean when Amionon gets happy or excited his tail always swings, it's kinda cute. It's so interesting that the others get clingy. Will I get clingy? Was that to many questions? Im sorry" Rin said without taking a breath.
Eygn laughed a bit before answering. "Yeah, it's kinda like cats, but didn't tell the others I said that. No it's not disrespectful but you'll probky get attacked by the others. Our tails relay our emotions pretty well, and Amionon usually doswnr show his tail unless he's comfortable or fighting for balance. I'm not sure if you'll get clingy or not. No it's fine. I like answering questions. And there's no need to say sorry to me" Eygn spoke slower than Rin but still fast. The two sat enjoying the water for awhile longer before going back to Mephisto's office.

Next it was Beelzebub's turn. Beelzebub took him out aide if the protected school as well and into a nearby forest. One that was known to be inhabited by demons and many insects alike. Rin knew Amionon had been spotted here by many exorcists before but this was one of the areas close to where Mephisto owned a house at and it became normal for demons of all kinda to hang out on his properties.
The two walked down a small pathway that seemed animal-made. Finally, Beelzbub started to speak.
"I've never participated in the demon side of mating season, but I have participated in one or two family things. I've been groomed by Amionon a few times and usually out family will have at least one dinner together but besides that I usually stay in the forests. It's quiet without many of the demons here but sometimes quiet is good" he said before stopping at looking at Rin. "I've never been away from Assiah during mating season."
"Thats so cool! Does any of our siblings participate in the mating in Gehenna? Mephisto mentioned changes... What happens? Do you like when the forests are quiet?" again excitement got the better of Rin and he spoke fast.
"Lucifer and Ibis do pretty much every year, the others will sometimes, everyone has different changes but Mephisto will explain that to you. Yeah, I do, it's calm but I also am used to it being loud sometimes... So I like both"
Again times passed quickly as the two weeks and talked while getting to know each other before they went back to the school.

Amionon smiled widely and opened another lollipop despite having one in his mouth, he pressed it against Rin's like until he took it in his mouth. He then grabbed Rin's arm and they where gone with a poof.
"So I'm not really sure what the others said but ill just tell you my favourite parts about mating season!" he said happily as they appeared in a large room that looked to be in one of Mephisto's houses based on the colours. In front of them was a large panting. Each of the demon kings and Satan in the panting. Each of the members looked slightly younger then how they looked now.
"My favourite part is being able to spend it with my family, I love them, I really do, but it's so hard to get along sometimes. So during mating season, when not even Lucifer can get a lie past any of us, even know we usually catch it even with out being mating season... Never mind that, I can cuddle up with them and get groomed or groom them and I can tell they like it it makes me happy, and I guess that's why I try to hard to be nice to them. I'm not good at it, I've never been good at being nice but I'm trying. But another amazing part about mating season is the terror in Gehenna. I've only seen it once or twice in Gehenna but it was so wild it even scared me, and usually, only the other kings can do that." he stoked talking and turned to Rin. A tear fell down his cheek.
"I just want to be able to love them... I don't know why it's so hard" Rin gave Amionon a big hug. Both stayed in the hug, nuzzling into each other's neck until they felt a small impatient pull.
"Looks like our big brother wants up back" Amionon said before poofinf them right back to the office to an impatient looking Mephisto.
"Do you know how long you where gone!"
