I snuck out the bed making sure Rico was asleep. My legs touched the ground and I hissed. I looked at my ankles and saw rope burns. I laid back down staring at the ceiling before deciding to get up.
"Where are you going?" He said grabbing my arm
"To the kitchen," I said lowly
He turned back over and I let out a breath. I got up sliding on some sweatpants and a t-shirt. I went to the kitchen grabbing my keys and leaving the house as quietly and quickly as I could.
I went to Bennys. Nice little bar and was on the Levin territory so I knew Rico wouldn't step foot over here. Or even think I was over here because they didn't have a contract with the Levins and wasn't necessarily on good terms with them.
"I was wondering when you were gonna come. Been a few weeks" Benny said smiling at me
"I know" I hopped on a barstool "Rico ass, you know how that is" I shook my head
"When you gone leave him?" He said pouring me a glass of wine
"When I can" I gave him a knowing look
"Boss lady" he nodded towards the door "stay low"

I looked at the door seeing Rome Levin, Magnus's wife. She and her father worked closely with my brother. Alexander was particular about who he introduced me to, which was Rome and her dad. She was married to a guy named Julian at the time and Alexander didn't trust him at all so I never got the chance to formally meet him. I knew he was working with Rico in secret and when the whole Julian scheme came out, Rico made sure he and his people made sure their names weren't mentioned. simply because Rome and Magnus had killed everyone involved.
"Benny, you got those reports for me?" She came out and i looked away
"Yes ma'am. Sitting on your desk. Though I was expecting Oskar so I put his name on the form"
"It's okay. He's...occupied. He'll be here the next go around."
"Yes ma'am"
I watched her walk to the back and sighed "She's so pretty" I said dreamy
"Yeah Magnus is one lucky fucker" He chuckled shaking his head
I shook my head "You don't say" I mumbled.
I was on my fourth glass of wine when Benny came from the back "Boss lady wants you"
"Wants me?" He nodded his head pointing to the back. I saw a door with Levin Only on it and knocked on it.
"Come in" I opened the door and saw a gun on the table which made me stop "I'm not going to shoot you. Come in, shut the door" I did as she said and she pointed at the chair for me to sit down "I know everything that goes on around here, so it's been puzzling me on why Alexander's little sister has been coming in here for over a year, without his knowlegde. Not that I mind" she looked up at me
"I uh just like it here." I tapped my legs "You won't tell Lexi right?"
She looked at me and shook her head "No, I'm just curious on why you come 30 minutes from your house and always 2 hours before closing. Is my business only good for you at night?" She smiled
"No! No!" I chuckled nervously "I just work during the day and don't have a lot of free time"
She looked right through me and nodded her head "How's Rico?" My breath got caught in my throat and she shook her head "I know everything about everyone who comes through those doors. I'm just curious on why Alexander hasn't brought up to me that his sister is dating Louis second in command"
"He doesn't know" I mumbled lowly
"He doesn't know?" I nodded my head and she furrowed her eyebrows "And why is that?"
"I can't tell you"
"You can't tell me or won't tell me?"
"I can't."
"Okay, give me your phone" she held out her hand and I gave her my phone. "I like you. Even though you lied through most of our conversation. I trust that since your Alexander and Adriels sister you aren't stupid" she looked up handing me my phone back "Call me if you need anything."
"T-Thank you"
"Have a good night Harmony"
"Y-you too"
I closed the door and sat my keys on the table. I went back to the room and noticed Rico wasn't in bed. I just got in bed and just prayed for the best.
I heard the front door slam and I jumped. I pretended to be asleep and tried to not move. Hell, I was scared to breathe.
"Harmony" he sat on the bed and started rubbing my thigh "Wake up baby"
I turned over and looked at him "Yeah?" I tried to sound sleepy
He pulled me out of the bed and straddled me choking me. "Kitchen huh?" I was kicking trying to get him off of me. I managed to get my leg in between his and kneed him, making him fall off of me. I ran to the bathroom and grabbed my taser i kept in here for emergencies and locked the door. I looked at the window and got on the toilet to open it. "Harmony you try to leave and I'll fucking do it"
I got down and sat on the toilet and started crying "Get away from the door!"
"Get yo ass out here! Now!"
I got up walking towards the door and put my ear against it to see if he moved. I cautiously opened the door and saw Rico standing by the closet door.
"Let me go, Rico. You already have everything you want" I stood against the bathroom door "You got everything!" I screamed in frustration.
"No, now get in bed before I change my mind"
I started crying and heard him sigh "Please? Neither of us is happy. You got what you wanted!"
"Harmony, get in the fucking bed"
I walked over pulling the covers back and getting in the bed. He got in behind me and wrapped his arms around me.
"Rico?"
"What?"
"You said you were going to make me happy, and I'm not happy"
"No, I never said that. I said you can have anything you want. Did I not?" He turned me around "That's what I said, right?"
"Yeah" I sighed looking away
"And you have that right?"
"No"
"Your freedom doesn't count beautiful" he kissed me and ran his hand down my body "You can have anything but that. You're mine"
