CASHAY HAD always found her pad comforting and secure. But that time, it was different.

She sighed when she entered her unit. She just arrived from her tour along with her grandma. Nothing has changed in her pad since she left it six months ago. But now, she can no longer feel the relief that it used to give her before as soon as she entered.

It's time to move on from the pain, she thought. That's the only reason she could think of why she doesn't feel the same about the place anymore. That pad was her witness with her beginnings with Cinco until they ended everything between them.

She couldn't live there anymore. It holds a lot of memories of him. She's certain that if she opens the closet, she'll still see some of his clothes and the other personal things he left.

The trip was good and although she hasn't really forgotten and moved on from Cinco yet, she got the time to think and clear her mind.

She decided that when she comes back home, she'll open her own design shop and fashion boutique. She has a lot of plans but she will do them one at a time. She wants to focus on important things instead of going for everything all at once. That's what happened with her and Cinco. She failed to focus on more important things and when they were gone, she was left hopeless and crying. She doesn't want that to happen again.

She opened her luggage and changed her clothes.

Her grandfather said that she should stay in their house in Greenhills, but she said she wants to pack her things so she could move in to her condo in Pacific Plaza. She's not planning on selling out her unit yet, she'll just get her personal belongings and other important things since she's moving in to a fully furnished condo.

After changing in a pair of pink silk short shorts and shirt, she called her grandparents to tell them something.

She then pulled her list of food delivery services around the community. She's already used to eating food deliveries when she's not cooking. She was about to dial from her landline in the living room when she heard her refrigerator in the kitchen was beeping.

Her eyebrow raised before she decided to check it. When she opened it, she was surprised that aside from the fact that it was on—and she clearly remembered unplugging it from the outlet before leaving—it was full of food and other supplies!

She was confused, her forehead creased. She can't recall lending her pad to anyone while she was away. She was beginning to get nervous. Who the hell was nesting in her unit without her knowing? She was about to panic when the main door opened.

The grip she had on the cordless phone that was on her hand grew stronger and she silently waited to see who was coming in. When the door opened, she was surprised to see Cinco with a drive-thru food in his hands.

"What are you doing here?" Cinco asked in utter surprise.

"Shouldn't I be the one asking you that?" She was still recovering from shock.

He blinked multiple times as if trying to gaze if she was real. Then he said, "When did you arrive?"

"Just now. I went straight here." She pointed her luggage that she just piled by the sofa when she arrived.

"Why did no one inform me?"

"Nobody knows that I'm home. We decided to cut our trip short . Grandpa asked grandma to come home for some reunion. Kyra stayed in Italy. She met an Italian with a sweet tongue. You know my cousin, she's very gullible. I decided to come home with grandma."

"How about you, did you not meet an Italian with a sweet tongue?"

"Oh, I wish!" She feels a bittersweet feeling about their conversation. She's getting annoyed because all of her feelings and pain are coming back bit, she couldn't show it him. She even managed to smile at him. "Actually, I shouldn't be seeing you right now, right?"
