We got into town and I dropped the package off at the bank. Aleck waited for me at the shop. I saw him talking to a man with a tall black Arabian horse. It's midnight black shiny coat shined. It's mane and tail was braided.
"Hello Aleck" as I walk over with Ravis lead in my hand.
"Hey Cadence this is the Arabian that one last year's rodeo" as he petted it's black coat.
"Shes gonna be the winner this year too" as tall dressed up man bragged.
"Any horse could win, even mine" as I stroked Ravis head.
Your horse is lovely my dear but might not succeed against Radiance" as he pointed towards his horse.
"I bet ravi can beat yours, any challenge" as I said smirking.
I would like to see that thing try" as he hopped on radiance.
"Come on Aleck" "I'll see you at the rodeo Mr. Cortez" as me and Aleck raced off.
We got back onto the trail home. He was laying on Volt petting him. I was eating my sandwhich.
"You knew him?" As he leaned up looking at me.
"Yes he is my dad's boss, my dad trains all his horses" I looked at him.
He stayed silent and we got to the splitting path. He said good bye and waved as Volt started running. I did the same but we walked. Ravi started naying and getting roudy. I jumped off and lead him towards the gate. I pulled of his saddld. I opened it and pushed him in. He ran over towards the herd we owned. We have 19 mares, 10 stallions and 3 foals currently. I saw him grazing and decided to let him stay the night. I walked the rest way home.
