Meredith's Pov.

I avoided Addison until my shift ends. My heart was so heavy.

I walked with Callie and Cristina then Addison showed up.

"I'm sorry please" She asked.

"That's fine Addison. Now go home with her."

She was about to answer when Celestine showed up in front of us.

"5 million and stay away from Addison" Celestine said.

Oh god this bitch. She thinks I was like her. Do I look like a gold digger?

"What the fuck Celestine?" Addison asked.

I have an idea. I got the check that Addison just gave me earlier.

"10 million and stay away from us." I said then I looked her in the eye.

"Ohh you're bitchier than ever" Cristina said.

Hah.

"Mer that's yours" Addison whispered.

"It's my money so I'll decide what will I do on that money and I decided to give it to her because she won't stop chasing you" I replied also in whisper.

"Oh and the next time you'll come back here and chase Addison, make sure you said your goodbyes because I might kill you."

"Enough Meredith!" Addison shouted.

"Could you please leave now? Go back to New York for Pete's Sake!"

(Oops I don't think I was correct about that Pete part.)

She grabbed my hand and left Celestine there.We get in to her car and she drove. She's not talking to me and that's when I found out that she was mad at me so I decided to be in silent and talk to her when we arrived in my house or hers.

"You don't have any rights to be mad because first of all I was the one who looks like crazy waiting for you to explain everything to me!" I said as we arrived on her house. She was drinking scotch then I put my bag down.

"I'm pissed that you gave her the money but that's not the point why am I mad!" She shouted.

"Then what's the reason?!"

She looked at me. Thinking if she will really say the reason or not.

"I... Nevermind."

"Tell me Addison!"

"You won't understand!"

"I will Addison! We're a grown up!" She shouted.

"If we're a grown up then you should also tell your secret Meredith!"

She turned around and focus her attention on drinking scotch.

"If you want to leave you may leave" She said without facing me.

"What's the problem Addie?" I asked. Walking on her direction and then I hugged her behind.

"Stay away Meredith!"

"Don't shout. Now tell me what's the real reason why you're mad" I calmly said.

She removed my hands around her waist gently then she walked out.

"Just close the door if your going to leave already. Good night" She said then she made her way up stairs.
