"All rise for the honorable judge Doug Cartwright of the Supreme Court in the state of Georgia...." The bailif called out.
Everyone in the room stood up, the judge came out and sat behind his podium. We sat back down and Denver wrapped his arm around my shoulders. I saw the woman glance back at us, I got a lil annoyed cuz this was like the third time she looked our way. My mom told me that she was Henry's wife, Lorraine Stokely. I cleared my throat and turned to look at the judge when he spoke.
"Good morning everyone, Mr. Stokely.....the GA Supreme Court has reviewed all allegations and evidence and we have found you guilty of all charges. Due to your past position in law enforcement, as the former director of police in the state of GA.....it is a huge disappointment in the activities you have taken in. Your nephew, who has had a long history of negative marks on his record at several departments in the state.....you covered them up for him. Without merit.....his dishonorable discharge was changed.....because of you...." Judge Cartwright stopped to look at his papers.
I felt Denver caress my shoulder, I felt the tension I was carrying slowly melt away. I glanced at my mom, she had a blank look on her face as she watched the judge. She looked at me and gave me a placid smile.
"You ok....?" I took her hand and gave mom a careful look.

"Yeah....I just wanna be able to breathe out that satisfaction...." My mom just wanted to see karma bite him good and it had already started. Henry may be my dad.....but I feel no remorse for him, I looked at Lorraine as she sat next to her two oldest kids.
Henry treated my mom like complete shit when she told him that she was pregnant. She needed to get rid of me and leave him the fuck alone. She didn't get rid of me, but she did leave Henry alone. When I was born mom raised me and she tried for years to have him at least acknowledge and see me.....it didn't take for my mom to see it. Henry never told my mom that he was married...had three kids, that are way older than me.....!

Deegan is right on the border between SC and GA. That's where they were all this time....? What the judge said next, had us gasp in shock and Lorraine dropped her head in horror.
"You are also facing charges for child pornography and soliciting to purchase a minor of the current victims. This totals into a count of 31 charges, 19 of them carrying felony degrees....."
