So, before you begin this chapter, I'm going to admit that the personality of the reader in this chapter and the next are inspired by c!Dream's character. I'm a sucker for good villain characters. Enjoy!

When night came around, I made a dash over rooftops towards the school.
I did feel bad that I had to hurt others to find my targets, but it was necessary. Especially when dealing with ninja.
It took a total of half an hour to place all of the explosives in all sorts of places. Admiring my handiwork, I left the timers to go off during lunchtime. Getting into the front office, I take out my USB stick and make it easier to remote into the cameras to watch the show unfold tomorrow.
On my way home, I stop for a moment to stare at the beautiful night sky. The moon bright and a dragon flying from it towards me-
"Shit." I muttered as I began to run.
"Where do you think you're going?" A voice called out.
I turned and found the Red Ninja had appeared out of nowhere. But what really caught my attention was how familiar his voice sounded.
"Sneaking up on people isn't really nice, you know." I commented. "Stealth is a necessary trait for a ninja, you know." He mocked.
"So, here to see who I am under the mask or are you asking for a death wish?" I asked, making eye contact by accident.
Amber eyes met my e/c eyes. And I felt the same way as earlier when I first noticed Kai at school. I was getting trapped in the Red Ninja's gaze.
"Hello? Earth to Assassin Person? Are you alive?" He asked.
I glared at the Red Ninja when I managed to break eye contact with him.
"Obviously. Also, 'Assassin Person'? That's pretty basic and unoriginal. But, whatever floats your boat man. I've got things to do tomorrow and I'd like to get my rest." I mention while slowly backing away towards the roof edge.
"Wait- You can't leave! You've been murdering innocent people for 6 years. You need to turn yourself in to the police." The Red Ninja exclaimed.
"Nah. I've escaped the police for a while now. They just aren't fun anymore. But if the Secret Ninja Force wants to play chase with me, maybe I'll get to have fun again. I'm toying with you all. Entertain me next time Fire Boy. See ya later!" I stated as I saluted.
I go over the edge and conceal myself as I hear the confusion from the Ninja. I chuckled to myself before continuing my way home.

I woke up the next day and headed straight to Chen's house. He had the door open for everyone he invited to the 'cover up' party I asked him to do. When he saw me, his grin turned into a frown.
"You did it, didn't you?" He asked in a whisper. I gave a silent nod as I entered his house.
"Nothing too serious. Besides, you and I can watch everything unfold and we'll see who in the school tries to act like a hero. Or heroes." I chuckled.
"I don't know if this gig is getting to your head or you're actually enjoying making people suffer. I'll say it again as I have everyday: Please just quit this already." Chen begs.
I shook my head as I entered the room Chen's parents had made for me whenever I wanted to spend the night. I linked up my computer to the school system and Chen watched as we saw Lloyd and his friends. But what caught my attention was their conversation.
"It was so weird. One minute the assassin was there, on the edge. Next, they're gone! I don't know how I let them escape. They even called me Fire Boy. No one has done that before." Kai exclaimed on camera. "Kai! You can't be talking about that during school. Someone might hear you and then there'll be trouble." Nya hissed.
Chen and I glanced at each other at the information we learned.
"Garmadork and his squad are the Ninja?!" He asked. "I was talking to Kai last night?"
Chen did a double take as he started to freak out. Good news, no one at the party could hear us panicking. Bad news, My assignment just got a lot more difficult.
"Y-you can't go through with this. The Secret Ninja Force are students at our school and I've been bullying them. If they find out we know their identities, they'll learn that you are the assassin. I can't go to jail. I'm too young for that." He rambled.
It took me slapping him to get him to calm down and focus.
"Shut the fuck up and pipe down. Just because we know who they are now, doesn't change a thing. You hate Lloyd because his dad was evil, correct? And his friends kept you from hurting him? Them being ninja shouldn't change how you see them. I met the Red Ninja last night and I realized that his gaze was like how it was during school. I admit to having a crush on him. But, if I have to cut off all of my attachments to complete this assignment, I will. If you didn't know that they were the ninja, would you have been ecstatic to hear that they were assassinated before learning who they really were?" I asked.
My friend starts to back away from me very slowly. I cocked my head curiously, watching his every movement.
"I-I can't just stand here and let you hurt them. If your assignment was to assassinate Lloyd and his friends and I didn't know that they were the Secret Ninja Force, then I'd still do the same thing now. No one deserves to die. Even if it's Lloyd."
With that, Chen quickly slips through the door and I hear a click. Realization set in as I started to bang on the door.
"What the fuck are you doing Chen?! This isn't what we planned!" I shouted.
But I received no answer. I stride over towards the window and attempt to open it. It doesn't budge. A smirk danced onto my face as I sat on the bed.
"You fucked up, Chen. And once I get out of here, I'll befriend the Ninja and hit them where it hurts."
