Test 243- Mist Flower Growth Test

"Alright. Now this substance I've made should stimulate the growth of this flower, increasing it six folds... I'm sure it'll work this time!" Sucrose determine. She slowly tilted the glass bottle in her hand. A green liquid inched closer to the edge of the glass. Below it was a mist flower. As she slowly tilted it, she was completely focused. Too much of this liquid would end up causing the flower to just about fill the entire room—

BOOM

"Wha— What!?" Sucrose asked. At the door, Klee ran in. Albedo ran after her.

"Albedo!?" She asked.

"Sucrose?" Albedo asked.

"Klee!" Klee shouted. Sucrose had lost concentration already.

"Wait—" She was saying before the mist flower grew the size of the room...

"Sowwy..." Klee apologized. Sucrose fixed her glasses as Albedo rid of the massive cold plant.

"Well, at least I know it works... a little too powerful though." Sucrose said to herself. Albedo sighed.

"Still doing experiments? Around Christmas time?" He asked. Sucrose sighed after.

"Yeah. I just wanted to finish this up before taking a break... unlike you..." She replied, squinting to Albedo.

"What? I know how to take breaks." Albedo said.

"Where were you all last week?" She asked. Albedo didn't say anything.

"Uh... w-we don't talk about it." He said. He was at Dragonspine doing experiments. Sucrose sighed again.

"Sowwy..." Klee apologized again, making sure she was heard.

"It's alright. It was just an accident, that was all." Albedo said. Sucrose nodded. How could she be mad at sweet little Klee.

"Anyway, Sucrose, we did stop by for a reason other than to completely ruin your experiment." Albedo explained.

"Really? What is it?" She asked.

"Mom!" Klee exclaimed. It was Alice.

"Alice? She's here!?" Sucrose asked, getting excited.

"Sadly no, but she did send this." Albedo replied, holding a disc...

They sat down, sitting in front of a machine called the Gramophone. Albedo read off of a paper.

"Place the disc, lower the pin and hit play..." Albedo said to himself. He did just as the paper said. He placed the disc, lowered the pin, and clicked the switch. The disc began spinning.

"Hello? Hello hello!" The voice said. Klee got excited.

"Mom!" She smiled.

"Hi Klee! How are you doing over there in Mondstadt? Hopefully it snowed? Maybe not. Nothing but sun and moon over there probably." Alice said.

"Well, there actually is snow this year." Albedo said. Wind has blown snow off of the everlasting Dragonspine, which ended up causing cold weather and snow. (Ehe~)

"Well, whether it is or not, Christmas is coming right around the corner!" Alice said in a fun voice.

"I know! Oo! Will you come!?" Klee asked.

"Unfortunately, I will not be able to make it this time. I'm truly sorry, Klee, Albedo, and Sucrose. I have much to do here." Alice explained, seemingly knowing what they are saying and feeling. Klee was a little disheartened. She wanted Alice to be there. She wanted to have a lot of fun with her mother. Albedo and Sucrose noticed this, but they weren't the ones to comfort her.

"Oh Klee, I know it hurts to hear that I can't make it, but don't worry!" She exclaimed. Klee looked at the gramophone.

"I'll still get you something for Christmas! Something big and unforgettable... just like every other year..." Alice said, realizing that she had to top herself every year to come. Klee smiled.

"Really?" She asked.

"Well, of course! You're my daughter. I'll make a world for you if I need to. Though, that would take quite some time..." Alice said. Once again, it's like she was hearing everything they were saying.

"Yay! Thanks mom!" Klee exclaimed, hopping up and down. Alice made a sigh.

"Anyway, I also got something for you two as well, Albedo and Sucrose." She said. Sucrose got a bit excited.

"Really!? What is it!?" She asked.

"Now now, you'll have to wait for Christmas." Alice replied. Sucrose pouted with Klee.

"Anyway, I just want to lastly say." Alice began. Everyone turned to the gramophone.

"Stick together! Razor probably is t with you guys, but you four are like a family. I may not be there, so take care of Klee for me. Make sure you four stay together closely as well!" Alice began her final sentences. Everyone nodded. Sure, Alice couldn't see, but they felt like she could, and that's what mattered.

"Well, bye bye now! Behave Klee! No blowing stuff up unless you worn get caught!" Alice demanded. Klee nodded.

"Alright! Bye bye!" Klee waved at the gramophone. Then the disc stopped.

"Well... that was unexpected. However, it's always nice to hear her voice." Sucrose said. Albedo nodded.

"It really is." Albedo said. Alice may not have been there physically, but she was there. She was just about everywhere, her influence and motherhood would always be there. This was the Alchemist family of Mondstadt. Albedo, Sucrose, and child Klee, the wolf Razor, and the mysterious Alice.

I know Klee isn't technically an alchemist but screw you.

Also sorry for not posting any chapters here, I've been preoccupied with other things. Besides, I have two weeks till Christmas and definitely not 14 scenarios, so it should be fine. Gonna try to stay with at least an every other day schedule, but with this week coming up, I'm not so sure. Anyway, that's about it, and I hope this was an enjoyable chapter! (Sry for any spelling errors)
