It was my first day of Hogwarts and I was already running late. I grabbed the first pair of pants and threw them on along with a shirt that I hadn't bothered to iron and ran out the door with my luggage.
I arrived at Kings Cross Station ten minuets before the train was meant to be leaving.
"Where the hell is platform 9 and 3/4?"
I searched around but couldn't find it at all.
"Ahh not getting in people's way today are we?"
A familiar voice said behind me. I turned to see the blonde boy from yesterday.
"No im not I thought I'd take a break today."
I said not wanting to ask him for directions to the train.
"Well if you're coming to Hogwarts you better get a move on or we will leave you here ..... That would be a shame."
He said sarcastically and ran through the wall between platforms 9 and 10. I awkwardly looked around me before following behind him.
On the other side of the wall was a huge train which on the front showed Hogwarts Express. I loaded my luggage onto the train with everybody else's and got on.
"Great now I have to find somewhere to sit"
I searched around looking for an empty compartment which lucky enough for me I managed to find, but I wasn't alone for long. Three boys barged into the compartment and slammed the door shut.
"Sorry there's no where left."
The blonde boy said not sounding very sorry.
"Im Draco, Draco Malfoy. This is crab and Goyal."
He looked on either side of him at the chubby Slytherins.
"Well.... Im guessing Gryffindore maybe Ravenclaw."
He said as he leaned forward looking me up and down.
"Maybe your wrong"
I knew that both of my parents were in Slytherin so I assumed I wouldn't be in Gryffindore.
"Well you don't look like a Slytherin, your too ..... You don't look mean enough."
He laughed with Crab and Goyal.
I slouched in my chair and prayed we'd get to Hogwarts soon.
"So what's your name then?"
My long brown hair covered most of my face as I avoided looking at him.
"Alex Peters"
He nodded and sat back in his chair until we got to Hogwarts.
