When I got to the common room i slouched in the chair in the corner and sighed. I thought about my mother, although we didn't get along i was still worried about her. Why would she suddenly disappear ? Or who would want to take my her ?. I didn't really know how to feel about it all, but there was nothing I could do. I would stay at Hogwarts through Easter, Christmas, half terms, and every other holiday that the rest of the school went home to be with their families.
I don't want to sound selfish and only think about myself but if someone's taken my mother will they come for me ? God this is too much thinking. That's what I do though I over think and I worry myself, I panic and then im overwhelmed.
I was said frowning at the possibilities rattling around in my mind.
"Peters right ?"
A dark haired boy sat on the chair opposite me.
"Im Andrew."
He said as i didn't answer him the first time. I couldn't deny that he was very good looking, tall, dark brown hair, light green eyes and a perfect smile.
"Umm sorry hi I'm Alex ... Just Alex not Peters."
I wasn't very sociable so when he talked to me I wasn't sure how to act or respond to him.
"Okay just Alex, you looked lonely so I thought I'd sit with you ... I hope that's alright?"
He looked at me and I had butterflies. No I don't like him, I can't like him. Relationships ugh no not my thing.
"Sure."
I answered looking away from him not wanting to see how gorgeous he was.
"Look just Alex.."
Which made me smile.
"Do you wanna hang out? I mean we both have the same lessons together and not to be rude but it doesn't look like you have many friends to choose from."
No I didn't have any friends at all. And I don't really have a choice unless I did want to be the creepy loner girl.
"Yeah okay, that sounds.... Umm fun."
Fuck! Why did I say fun? That's just weird.
"Great see you in potions class."
He left me and went over to a a group of boys crowded around the sofa in front of the green flamed fire.
Maybe it won't be too bad at Hogwarts.
