Commander Erwin's eyes widened in fascination, "What do you mean 'one of them'?" He questioned

Sweat beads rolled from my forehead down to my jaw, "There was this.. thing happened between me and Historia.." I trailed off, ".. I made contact with her and after that, my body felt it was electrocuted and I started to have peculiar dreams," 

Commander Erwin hummed, "Ackerman did reported me about those dreams, that's why you haven't been sleeping properly.." I nodded in reply, "But, you still haven't answered my question,"

"Yes, I'm getting there, sir.." I answered, "Those 'peculiar dreams' were actually memories..." I gulped, nervous on what will Commander Erwin will say, "... Of how I obtain the Howling Titan,"

Silence

Silence filled the office as I stared at Commander Erwin, agitated what his response will be. Is he disappointed that I didn't told him earlier on? Surprised? Will he tell Captain Levi or Section Commander Hange about this? Will they treat me like how they treated Eren? 

"Do tell me more," He interrogated

I sighed in relief before speaking, "It all started when the Colossal Titan appeared the second time━me, Eren and the others were still trainees and Wall Rose was in the brink of extinction. I remember I was with Rico squad, when all of a sudden, a woman appeared━I'm sorry, I don't remember her face," I stammered

"You don't need to be too specific," The Commander considered

Nodded, I continue, "But I do believe she was the former holder of the Howling Titan. I went down to save, sh-she started calling me a 'devil' and stabbed something on my arm. After that, everything went dark and when I woke up, I don't remember anything. But then, there was this voice that kept ringing in my head whenever I'm close to Eren, but I couldn't make out what it was saying,"

"But, I will say, Commander, that I'm not one of Reiner's comrades! I didn't took the titan just to betray humanity," I cried

The Commander was deep in his thought, before standing up from his seat and grabbing his jacket off the hanger. Confused, I watched as he slips the jacket in before turning to me.

"Prepare two horses and bring a blade with you," He ordered, "I want to see it,"

Our adventure reached to an field in the outskirt of Wall Rose, furthermore, there was a forest. It was quiet, empty and abandoned━well there were a few titans in the area, but they were miles away from us, I'm sure they wouldn't immediately spot us. Still confused, I turned towards the commander, "What are we doing here, Commander?"

"Like I said earlier, I want to see it. Your titan," He said, "I want to see how much potential it has to be able to retake Wall Maria. Eren may be our strongest bet, but with your titan around, we may have the possibility to overthrow the enemy,"

"I don't even know who the enemy is.." I thought to myself as I turned myself towards the forest. "Now I need a solid goal," I mumbled as I look around for something that I need to focus to transform. 

Taking so much of the damn time, I didn't notice that there were hordes of titans coming our way. My ODM isn't with me, we can't outrun them by horse and the Commander's poor injury. This was a perfect opportunity. Slicing a deep cut on my palm, electricity shot throughout my body as I was slowly wrapped with veins and muscles. With a complete transformation, my titan grumbled before letting out a loud scream as it jumps into action. Slice every slice, claw every claw as blood splattered at the bright, green field. When all of the titans are dead, my mind sudden short-circuited as my titan moved on its own.

It charged towards the Commander, but luckily, I was able to obtain consciousness and controlled it to stop. Panting, I observed the Commander's sudden frightened expression, later soon to calm down as I pulled myself out of the nape. The sound of hissing steam as I stepped down from my titan. Now, I faced Commander Erwin with determination that I can volunteer to retake Wall Maria.

"You have proven well, Cadet Ichinose, now let's head back to HQ and discuss a plan," He ordered

"Um, sir.. I'm not sure the others can handle well that there's another titan shifter," I stated

"Don't worry, you and me are the only ones who will know the plan. Consider this a Plan B," He said as we rode back to HQ
