Red finally was let out of the hospital the next morning. I felt an odd quiet energy around him the entire ride home. I attempted placing my hand apon his during the ride, but he jerked his balled up fist away and turned towards the window silently. "Are you ok Red?" No response.
I snatched his wrist, forcing him to stare right into my pupils. I leaned in kissing him deeply, at first he looked surprised. Then Red closed the crimson eyes that he owned, and started to tilt my direction. Sweet Arceus I love this boy! I pulled away slowly, Red shyly looked down. "I like you" he squeaked, "I like you too" I whispered delicately into his ear as He clung to me.
"I don't want you to leave me green," I heard him mumble. His face was buried into the fabric of my shirt. "Never" I told him, he looked up at me with wide eyes "What?" I asked, "green you've changed" he said with a warm smile.
He's right I have changed, and I really don't mind it either. "It's been years... Of course I would of changed, at least a bit." At least a bit, I said and I stuck my tongue at him "dweeb."
"Indeed" Red responded with a giggle.
