Part 14

You were done getting ready for classes but a bit nervous to step out of the room.

"He's not awake, is he..?" You whisper to yourself as you take a deep breath and quickly step out. But as soon as you do so, you see Taehyung standing right there near the kitchen, drinking a glass of water.

He noticed you and kept the glass down.

"Good morn-

"Goodmorning! I'm getting late for my class, bye see you later!" You say as you quickly bow at him and awkwardly run away, slamming the door. Taehyung just stands there awkwardly, staring at the door.

"There are still 30 minutes left for her class to start..." He said, looking at the clock.

*In the classroom*
There was no one yet in the classroom as you literally came 30 minutes early. So you just sit on your seat and keep your head down at the desk to rest. You barely had any sleep last night.

But even now when you were trying to sleep, you couldn't help but think about what happened last night. His sudden confession kept making your heartbeat go up.

"Hi!" You heard a familiar voice. You look up to see your senior, Park Chaeyeong. You immediately stand up and bow at her, "Oh, Hello!"

"It's ok, drop the formal language! By the way,your cheeks are red"

"Oh..." You touch your cheeks awkwardly.

"Ooo what were you thinking about huh?"

"N-Nothing! Probably just sunburn hahahahaha"

"Anyways, I saw you alone in the classroom so I just came to say hi. Hope I didn't disturb you"

"No no! Please sit" you say pointing beside you and she takes a seat with a smile. "Did I make it awkward yesterday?"

"Huh?" You question.

"When I said Hi to Taehyung. I hope you didn't feel awkward.. Actually him and I used to-

"I know. You two used to date" you say, making her a little surprised as she wasn't expecting you to know.

"Oh..did he tell you?" She asked and you nod.

"I see. Honestly..I still like him"

"I knew it.."
You say inside your head and look down, fidgeting with your fingers.

"But I'm not expecting to get back together with him" she said and you immediately look up at her as she continued, "I know he doesn't like me. He likes you"

Your eyes widened thinking about how did she know.

"The way he looked at you at the convenience store..and the fact that he told you about his relationship with me, means that he really cares" she said with a smile and you look down, feeling your heart beat increasing again.

"Goodluck" she said and stood up to leave. You get confused, "why?"

"You like him too, don't you?" She said and you immediately get concious about your feelings. Your heart was beating faster and you could feel your cheeks burning.

"I'll pray for things to work out between you two! See you later!" She smiled brightly and left for her classes.

You just sat there watching her leave but straight after that Yeonjun entered too. "Hi!" He said with a smile and you smile back, waving at him.

"You're early today as well"

"So are you" you say, making him chuckle as you both laugh at each other.

*Later*
Yeonjun was dropping you to your dorm after classes.

"Thanks"

"Aish it's nothing! Take care" he says and shuffles your hair. You smile as you say bye to him and turn to enter your dorm when you see Taehyung standing outside the door, glaring at Yeonjun.

"Did he see us..?"
You think and watch Taehyung's expression, who clearly didn't look happy. He definitely saw what just happened. His eyes were stuck on Yeonjun.

He got closer to you and patted your head as well. You get confused and flustered by his sudden move.

"Wh-Why did you-

"I just wanted to" he said and entered inside. You follow after him awkwardly.

You take off your shoes and were about to enter your room when he said, "please don't feel awkward about what happened yesterday.."

You flinch at his mention about last night. He stood there, waiting for you to say something.

"Sure.." you say awkwardly and quickly go inside, locking your room. Then immediately you drop your bag aside and flop down on your bed.

"Ahhhhh!"
You scream in your head as you aggressively punch your pillow, which Taehyung could easily hear till his room.

"What is she doing..."
