Part 12

A hand comes from behind you and takes a bottle. You turn around to see Taehyung, standing right in front of you.

You just stand there staring at him as he drinks his water, who was just one step away from you. As he finishes drinking his water, you watch him put the cap back on it as he comes closer. He leans forward as he goes over towards the fridge and keeps the bottle back.

Your heart started beating faster and you suddenly get a hiccup. You immedietly put your hand over your mouth. Even after putting the bottle back, he doesn't take a step back and keeps staring at you.

"Your cheeks are red"

"What? A-Are they? It must be because I'm tired!" you say touching your cheeks as you quickly try to go away from there but your bracelet gets stuck in his shirt's button.

"Oh- I'm sorry!" You say and restlessly try to get it out with his eyes still stuck on you, which made you more and more nervous.

He suddenly holds your hand gently, stopping you. You look up at him.
"Let me do it" he says, leaving your hand and very gently separates it from his button.

"There you go"

"Yeah, th-thanks!" You say as you bow to him and leave.

"Omg my heart! It's beating so fast!"
You think, touching your chest as you take a deep breath.

"Are you alright?" Yeonjun suddenly asks out of nowhere and you flinch.

"Omg! I thought you were someone else..."

"Who were you...expecting?"

"Huh? Uh..I- No one! I wasn't EXPECTING anyone haha. Should we go finish the project?" You ask as you hold his arm and drag him back towards the couch.

"Sure" he says but he couldn't help but stare at you with a questioning look.

*A little later*

"Finally! We're done!" You say, stretching your arms as you stand up.

"Yup, I'll take it home and finish with the final decoration" Yeonjun says.

"Sure. Then we can submit tomorrow"

"Yeah. Good work!" He smiles as he stands up beside you and pats your shoulder.

You say the same to him. He smiles as he packs up and leaves after saying bye. You sigh and close the door after him. As you turn around, you flinch seeing Taehyung standing near the footwear shelf like a mannequin, staring at you.

"Oh god, you scared me!" 

"Did I?" He questions, getting a little confused and stands in a more relaxed position.

You chuckle, "ofcourse" you say and walk past him but you suddenly felt his hand gently holding your wrist. You turn around and he quickly let's go of it.

"Umm..I'm going out for some grocery shopping so would you like to join?" He asks, scratching the back of his neck.

"Do you need help with it? I'll join then. I anyways need to buy some stuff as well. Give me a minute to change!"

"Sure" he softly smiles and you run to your room.

While changing, you again start thinking about what he said that day.

"Was he..serious?
Ah why am I thinking about it so much!"
You say in your head as you finish getting ready and head out to the living room.

Your outfit:

"Done?"

"Yeah, let's go!" You say and you both leave.

*at the convenience store*

Taehyung was at a different corner, buying some toothpastes and other toiletries for himself while you were in the snacks corner. You were looking around for some new chocolates when you see someone familiar at the paying counter.

"Oh- isn't it..that senior? What was her name? Right! Park Chaeyoung!" You say to yourself as you remember how she bumped into you two times.

She looked concerned so you walk closer to see what was happening.

"But we don't take cash. You have to pay by card"

"I'm telling you I don't have a card right now, can't you accept cash for once?" She asks as she looks at the stuff she bought, not wanting to let it go.

You quickly go towards her. "Let me help you!"

"Aren't you...?"

"Yeah. The freshman girl you keep bumping into" you say, taking out your card from your bag and giving it to the lady. "Here, I'll pay from my card"

"You don't have to. Please don't bother" she says, feeling embarrassed.

"Ah it's okay!" you smile at her as you take the card back after the payment was done.

"Here, let me return the money"  she says, going through her cash money but you stop her.

"Don't bother, you're my senior and if you want to pay back..come over to my dorm someday-

You get interrupted by a familiar voice.
"Y/n, are you done already?"

You turn around to see Taehyung but he gets a little surprised after noticing her beside you.

"Oh- Taehyung..." she says.

"You two...know each other?" You question, standing between them as they both stared at each other.
