"Umm..Y/n?"

You hear Taehyung's voice from outside you room. "Are you asleep?"

"N-No..." You say in an awkward tone and go open the door. You see him standing in front, with a parcel. "A parcel for you"

"Oh.. thanks" You quietly take the parcel from his hands and while doing so, your fingers brushed. But you pretended to not notice and kept the parcel on your table. He was still standing at your door, watching you.

The parcel was from your mom and they were just some winter clothes she sent you to stay warm.

You look back at your door to see Taehyung was still standing there, staring at you. You fail to make eye contact with him and say, "do you need something?"

"Are you pretending to not care?"

"What?" You finally look at him.

"You clearly know that I like you" he says and you just stand still, staring at him, not knowing what to say as he continues, "Then why are you acting like you don't know? I like you and you know it"

"I...I'm not preten-

You stop once he comes inside and walks closer to you.
"I like you, Y/n. A lot and I swear, I'm not playing around"

Your heart started beating faster and faster and your cheeks were burning.

"But.." You finally speak up. "Why me?"

"Why not?"

His words make you surprised.

"Is there supposed to be a specific reason to like you? I just like you" he says and you notice his slightly red cheeks, "I can't take it anymore. I want you to know how much I like you and I want to know how you feel as well"

You could feel the weird feeling in my stomach. This was literally his third time confessing to you and you could still feel your heart fluttering.

You get interrupted by a sudden call on your phone. You flinch but his eyes were stuck on you. You look away and check your phone to see it's from Yeonjun. Taehyung saw it too.

You awkwardly pick it up. "He-Hello?"

"Y/n! Are you free right now?" He sounded really happy.

"Kind of..why?"

"Can you meet me near Han river? I need to tell you something"

"Right..now?" You ask as you look over at Taehyung who was watching you.

"Yes. I have to do this now..or I won't be able to do it later" he says and you say yes and hang up.

"So- sorry...I've to go" You say, failing to make eye contact with Taehyung.

"To meet Yeonjun?" He asks and you nod. He looks down at the floor and moves aside for you to leave. You look at him one last time as you take your coat and leave.

I feel bad. I feel horrible for leaving him like that. But I can't do anything if Yeonjun wants to meet urgently. And..I myself have to figure this out.

You reach the han river but Yeonjun was still not there.
