Tensions (Levi X Reader)

Ch. 4: Notebook

As everyone is now gathered at the mess hall after finishing eating their lunch. The Commander, captains and corporals all came in to meet up for the meeting.

All of your gazes follow Commander Erwin, who is now stepping up to the wooden platform.
Moblit pushes out a blackboard that had a map attached to it, and set it behind where the Commander is standing.

"As all of you have heard from your captains. We will be having an exploration soon. The day is set in February. In the meantime, please do your best in honing your skills." Erwin's blue eyes gaze around the crowd and found you amongst the others. Then shifts his gaze among the crowd once more. "For Hange's team, I hope you've been notified to train with Levi's team for the upcoming exploration. I have much to discuss with her during these times. So here I must apologize to take your Commander out of the group, and leave you in Captain Levi's care." he says. Erwin waited for moment to see if anyone had any questions.

"Then we'll begin our meeting for today," Erwin says as he slaps the palm of his hand on the blackboard behind him, startling some of the people among the group, as they were woken up from their daydreams.

After the long meeting, everyone went on their way to their sleeping quarters.
As part of the Survey Corps, everyone was luckily given a room of their own. It was a nice perk to have during these tumultuous times.

Making your way down the hallway, then climbing a flight of stairs towards the scouts quarter. You lift your gaze, suddenly seeing a figure in the distance.

"Captain Levi, sir." you place your fist on your heart in all due respect, as the Captain walks towards your direction.

His grey eyes glances at you down to your attire. You were still in your uniform.

Captain Levi only stops a bit in his steps , as he says, "Follow me. I need to talk to you." Before walking past you and down the flight of stairs that you just came up.

"Sir, what is it you want to talk to me about?" you ask, after closing the door behind you. You were brought to his personal office. And this is the first time you've ever stepped in it.

Suddenly feeling uneasy, as the room was filled with silence.

You look at Captain Levi, who turns his head towards you while leaning his body against the front edge of his mahogany table.

You gulp down the fear, as he starts to speak.

"I know you're strong, but refrain from hurting any of your teammates when we're practicing," he says.

"Sorry, did I hurt someone during the training?" you ask out of concern.

The Captain's eyes gazes sternly at you as he says, "No, but if you did. There will be consequences. Your form is okay, but you looked a bit stiff. Was it because of the weather?"

You gaze back at him.

Is he showing concern...? no it must be your imagination.

"I think so.." you rub your hands together, then curl your fingers into a fist to test the stiffness of your hands.

"Do you do stretches before the training?" he asks.

"I do, but I think the cold weather got me." you say.

"Stand here," Levi says as he walks to the wall adjacent to his mahogany table. Pointing to the bare wall next to his tea cabinet.

You slowly walk over to the wall he's pointing at, your eyes gaze at him with uncertainty. As he commands you to, "Stand on your side against the wall, and lift one leg up," he says.

As you stand sideways against the wall. Levi's hand abruptly grabs your ankle. You were quite taken aback by his actions, as a yelp almost slips out of your mouth. With one leg now on Levi's shoulder, as he stretches your legs with the weight of his body leaning onto you. You hands plaster against the wall you are leaning against. If someone is to come in at any moment..

"Ah...wait Captain. It hurts," you whimper.

Levi leans foward, stretching your legs even more, "Tch, shut it. If you don't feel the pain, that means it's not working," Levi says.

Levi shoves that one foot that you are standing on against the wall with the toe of his boot. And leans his body toward you.

"Ah~" you quickly cover your mouth, for the sound that just came out between your lips. That sounded more like a moan than a painful grunt.

"Don't cover your mouth, put your hands down" you hear him say. Your face red, as you look to the ground. While you continue to cover your mouth with your hand.

"Are you disobeying my orders?" Levi asks, as he stares at you with his grey eyes, you take a glance at him.

Then quickly let your hands down.

"Focus on how I'm stretching your legs," his voice almost a whisper into your ear. If you haven't turned your head to the side, the two of your lips would already be brushing against each other.

You gulp at the closeness, suddenly remembering the very mixed feeling you felt when he kissed your hand under the mistole, just to get rid of it.

A shiver run down your spine, as your body tenses up. He didn't even need to lay a finger on you, just his presence is enough to make your heart beat fast against your chest.

Then Levi puts his hand under your knee, the leg that was on his shoulder now lifted off, as he gently places your leg down back for you to stand on your own two feet.

You straighten your posture, and slowly shift your gaze to look at Captain Levi standing in front of you.

"Having good form, doesn't do much if your muscles are stiff." Levi says.

His grey eyes shifts from your eyes then glance down to your legs that trembled from the muscle spasms.

You swallow, and clutch your fingers against the flaps of your uniform jacket. Suddenly, feeling nervous, as he roams his gret eyes over you.

His grey pupils comes back up to meet your eyes briefly. Then he takes a step back and begin to walk out of the room.

"Tomorrow, we'll continue our training. Get a partner and stretch those muscles, you might get a better swing at your opponent." he says and left you standing against the wall from stretching out your tendons that got stiff from the cold weather.

You manage to get back to your sleeping quarters. Once you got in, you immediately change into you pjs, freshen up and rolls into bed under the warm comforter. But suddenly sat up, and reach your arm over to your study desk next to your bed. Lighting a candle, and grab the notebook that was given to you by Hange, and sat up in bed to read it.

You open the first page of the notebook.

It even has a title, just like any reading book. Neatly hand written by the one and only, your Section Commander, Hange.

And long and behold, the title of the book says:

"Eligible Bachelors"

with a little footnote at the bottom that states: Just for you, my hardworking  guieane pig ;)

Who would be included in the eligible bachelors list??
