The rain had subsided and you were still getting a piggyback from Captain Levi. Now the both of you are staring up at the brightly lantern lite sign of an inn. Levi carries you through the double wooden doors, as he pushes the door open with his feet. The heel of his boot slams a bit too forcefully, that one of the customer who was about to get out, quickly dodges to the side.
But seeing Levi's understandable inconvenience despite the rude action, the customer kindly hold the door open for him.
"Thank you," you reply for the Captain, as he only gave a not very evident nod.
As you got in the inn, it immediately welcomes you in with its warmth from the fireplace, and not far from the side of the lobby, you can certainly smell the mouth watering aroma of food whiff through the air.
Levi set you down on one of the bench for you to wait at the lobby while he checks in. You gaze around the inside of the inn. Its walls painted white, supported by large wooden beams. It's tinted glass windows could only let you make out the shadows and soft glows of the fire lite lanterns that light up the streets outisde. Every wooden furniture had marks here and there on its surface, showing its wear and tear due to old age.
Soon Levi comes back with the key to the room.
There is only one key.
You look at the key dangling at its key ring with its wooden label carved with its room number. He reached out with his unoccupied hand towards you for you hold, as he asks, "Can you stand?"
"Yes," you reply, taking the hand that he offered as you push yourself up to stand. Levi takes a look back at you as you got up. His fingers lightly slides off your fingers, as you begin to follow him up a flight of stairs, soon reaching himg your room for the night, with its wooden plate nailed to the wooden door with the room #69 on it.
Levi shoves the key in the keyhole and opens it for the both of you to enter.
As you can see,it is a suite. The bathroom with a separate door at the entrance. Insde the room, there's a small study table on the right. A small glass window with its curtains open in front of you. And to the left there is a double bed perfect for two.
You blink at the bed for a few seconds, and as if to reply to your thoughts, Levi says, "This is the only room they had left. I hope you don't mind."
"No, sir. Of course not. I'm thankful that you were able to find me. In any case..I should be the one thanking you."
Levi takes off his uniform jacket and hang in onto the backrest of the wooden study chair. His white shirt was still wet and slightly showing his skin covered underneath. Then he untied his carvet, his fingers slide across the ODM belt as he unbukles it across his chest. His fingers pluck at the first button of his white shirt, then unbuttons the second button.
"Do you want to take one first?" he suddenly asks, snapping you out of your trance of watching him.
A blush comes to your cheeks, as you realize that you're just standing there watching him undress.
You quickly clear your throat, gripping the flaps of your jacket together close to your chest, as you reply, "Yes...but I don't have a change of clothes..Sir."
Levi's grey eyes lingers on you for a bit, slightly glancing at you from head to toe.
"Right, I'll get you a change of clothes. You go ahead. I'll put the dry clothes outside the bathroom door." Levi says, as you watch him walk towards the room door, and place his hand on the bronze doorknob.
Levi takes a glance back at you before leaving the room, he asks, "Anything you don't eat?"
Which you quickly reply, "I eat anything."
