Gumi x Gumiya

Gumi's P.O.V.
I was sitting on the back of Gumiya's bike when I saw teal blur my vision. Looking back, I saw Miku Senpai laughing and holding hands with a teal haired boy who was her age.
I smiled, happy for my friend. I knew she was going to get a boyfriend soon enough. She is pretty. I just wish she wasn't already a third year getting ready for college entrance exams. I'm still a second year and would love to see her be romantic with her new boyfriend.
"So, Miku Senpai has a boyfriend now huh?" I said to Gumiya who wasn't paying attention.
"Huh? Oh, yea, cool." He replied nonchalantly. Still to focused on peddling, not caring about anything at the moment.
" Yup! That is what anyone would expect of Miku Senpai, ne? I mean she is pretty. Not only that, she is very talented and kind. Also, even though it was just a glimpse, but, her boyfriend was very very handsome!" I squealed.
Gumiya's body twitched as he quickly looked at me and then back at the front.
"Nee, Gumiy-kun, I wonder, what would it feel like to have someone love you. Not like a family or friend love you, but a lover. You know, somebody who you want to share your life with, go out with, marry, and have a family together. Do you get what I'm saying?" I asked.
"yea. I do." Gumiya answered.
"Well, I wonder, is there somebody who'll love me?" I said dreamily.
Then, silence. Gumiya kept peddling and was about to saw something when I saw my friends, Rin and Len.
"Riiiiin-chaaaan! Leeeeen-kuuuun! Konbawa!" I yelled as I stood up on the bike, holding tightly onto Gumiya's shoulders and my body pressed against him.
"Gu..." Gumiya started but didn't finish because the bike then hit a rock and tipped to the side, throwing Gumiya and I off.
We then both slid down on the grassy slope of the river walk and skidded to a stop at the bottom.
We both groaned in pain and just laid there for a minute.
"Poor poor traffic safety Gumiya. Be careful next time." I muttered to him.
"Baka. Maybe next time, don't stand up." Gumiya scolded in a low tone.
We both sat up and I started to pick out leaves from my green hair.
Gumiya was staring at me and quickly looked away when our eyes met. A blush on his face. Either from the cold or maybe a fever sneaking up on him maybe.
"Nee, Gumi-san."
"Gumi. Just Gumi is fine Gumiya. You don't have to be formal you know. You are one of my best friends." I said cheerfully with a smile on face.
Shocked, he eyes widened and he looked down.
"Doushitano (what's wrong)? Gumiya-kun?" I asked. Clueless to what's going on.
"I-it's nothing. But, Gumi, what we talked about earlier, there is a guy that you know and he does care deeply about you. He also looks after you and is really really close right now." Gumiya said softly. His face a bright red. Along with his ears. KAWAII. Gumiya always was so kind and thoughtful. Despite his foul mouth and nonchalant attitude. He is just a tsundere. Cold, but really really really nice! That's what I like about him.
" Aaaaaaw, Gumiya-kun, how sweet of you." I said happily, patting him on the back.
"Soooo, is there a girl you like Gumiya? Is there?" I said excitedly. Gumiya then scowled and snapped,
"Why would I tell you!? Baka!"
"Huuuuh!? Douuushite(why)? You're so mean!" I whined.
Gumiya then stood up abruptly and a envelope fell out of his winter uniform pocket.
Quickly snatching it, I began to run away laughing as I clutched the secret paper that Gumiya had hidden from me.
"GUUUUUUUMIIIIII!!!!!! Give that back!" Gumiya yelled as he tried to catch up to me and get his bike to work at the same time. Yet, it's tires had our school bag straps tangled in it.
Once I ran out of Gumiya's sight, I sat l down underneath the highway bridge's walls and began to open the envelope with the Sound of cars, and wind passing by.
Inside, was a little carrot charm necklace and a letter. The moment I read the beautifully written words, my face began to burn, and my heart began to pound in my chest. Gumiya, so you feel the same huh? Was what I thought as I read the letter.
" We've been together for a while now and have never left each others sides despite how flawed the other is. When I first met you, you gave me a reason to smile and live. For, before I met you, I despised my life. My parents abandoned me and I lived with a distant relative, who I didn't like at the time. But you helped me. Helped me learn how to interact with people who were strange to me. Learn how to make friends. Now, despite how cold I may act, I am able to feel things for you. Despite how oblivious imperfect you are, I can't help but stay with you. Even if you are a handful. Gumi, kimi ga suki daiyou (I love you)"
"Oh, Gumiya-kun." I whispered.
"Yea?" I heard a voice answer.
I squeaked and got up quickly. There, Gumiya stood, leaning against the dirty concrete wall of the bridge support. His bike was behind him, laying on it's side, our bags inside the basket.
"G-Gumiya, gomen."
"No need to apologize. Also, here." Gumiya turned, picked up my bag and tossed it to me. I caught it, holding it tightly, close to my heart that was pounding so hard in my chest that I thought it would burst out any second now.
"I'm going home now. So if you want to hang out here, go ahead. I don't want to freeze out here. Ja'ne."
Gumiya said as he started to get on his bike.
Not wanting him to leave, I ran and hugged him.
"Gumiya,Ikanaide(don't go). Sukidesu (I like/love you!)!" I said earnestly as looked into his green eyes, which had tears in them now, and a small smile crept onto his face.
"Hontoni? (really)" He asked.
"Hai. I do." I said softly, and began to lean up to him for a kiss when there were to flashes of light all of sudden.
Quickly turning around, we saw two orange and yellow phones pointed at us. There, stood smirking at us, was Rin and Len.
"Len did you get that?" Rin chuckled.
"Un! And it came out clearly." Len said. Those little diabolical, blondes.
"RIN-Chan!? LEN-Kun!? What are you doing!?" I asked flabbergasted.
"Just spreading the good news." Rin said devilishly. Len laughing with her.
"Delete those pictures now!" Gumiya demanded.
"If you can catch us! Run Len!" Rin yelled and the two darted off laughing their heads off.
Gumiya and I sighed in unison and then looked at each other, and started to laugh.
"Those two really know how spice things up huh?" I said between laughs.
"Hehehe. Yea, they do don't they? Hey, now that the ice is broken, want to go into town and get some crepes?" Gumiya offered.
"Yea. You're paying right?" I asked.
"Sure, come on. I always end up paying anyway." He said.
"Hehe. I'll pay next time." I said.
"Or..." Gumiya started, and he then grabbed my hand, and blushed.
"You could just stay with me and that would be enough for me. I mean, as payment." Gumiya said and pouted with a red face. Hehe, he gets embarrassed so easily. I love him for who he is though. I wouldn't leave him for the world anyway.
"Yea, I'll always stay with you. Forever and ever." I said softly and squeezed his hand as we began to walk back up onto the river walk, and towards town.
