Len's P.O.V

"Ha ha ha! Boy, I can't wait to show the gang. Everybody will be fangirling so hard. Gumi x Gumiya! Yup! Japan's number one ackward yet, cutest couple. Ne? Len-kun" Rin said through gasps as we stopped running.
"Hehehe. Yeah and did you see their faces? Priceless." I said, still laughing hard. I felt proud that Gumiya finally his girl. Even though it was a coincidence that Gumi found the letter he was supposed to give her but didn't. He was supposed to put it in her shoe locker this morning but chickened out and didn't. But hey, fate has it's ways.
"Boy was that fun though. My favorite part was seeing Gumi run off with the letter and Gumiya struggling to catch up with her. Gumi is a wild one. Gosh, I can't stop thinking how cute they are." Rin said cheerfully, smiling her signature smile. The smile that I loved and made my heart pound. Creating not just a little ping, but a boom. Like the boom of a drum, not a triangle.
I gotta tell her. I have to tell Rin how she makes me feel. Yet, will it ruin our friendship? Our bond? No. Don't think like that Len! You can do it. If Gumiya did it, then you can tell.Rin. Tell her. TELL HER!
"Ano...Rin." I started cautiously.
"Hmmm? Nani?" Rin asked. Clearly she wasn't paying attention. That's just like her though and really don't mind. It's what makes Rin, Rin, and I appreciate that. Because I only love Rin for Rin. Nothing else. Just, Rin.
"What do you think of me?" I asked. Baka! Why did you ask a question!? A question!? Baka! You should've just told her!
I mentally scolded myself as my face began to burn. While Rin looked startled. Dangit. I scared her. Yet, she also looks a little puzzled. Why? Is that good or bad? Gyaaaaa! Leeeeen! You idiot!
"R-Rin? Daijoubu(are you alright?)" I asked worried. Hands out, not knowing what to do.
"H-huh? H-hai, daijoubu(y-yea, I'm alright)." Rin stuttered.
"A-are you sure? I-I mean, you don't have to answer now or anything. I mean, you're red and shaking. Yo..."
"Ie! I want to tell you, and I have to tell you. Demo..." Rin trailed off.
"But?" I mocked, wanting to know her answer.
" You tell me how you feel first! How do you feel about me?" Rin asked, flustered.
Her outburst shocked me and I looked down, I can't do it after all. I'm a coward. I can't say it.
Rin then got nervous and placed a unsure hand on my left shoulder. Asking if I was alright.
Fine, if I can't tell her than I'll let her hear how I feel. So, I grabbed he hand and pulled her close to my chest. So she can hear my pounding heart.
"Hear for Yourself." I whispered. At first she was surprised but then relaxed and listened.
"Can't you hear it? How I feel? How loud my heart pounds with you around? That's how I feel. I feel strongly towards you. So, how do you feel for me?" I asked. Pushing her away, hands still on her shoulders.
I looked into her dazed cerulean eyes. They were beautiful. Like her.
Just then, Rin took my arms, and pulled me into her, so my head was pressed against her breast.
"R-Rin? Na..." I stuttered, face a bright red.
"Shhh. Listen." Rin hushed at me. So, I listened and heard her own little heart pound very fast.
I was shocked, yet, happy. If her heart rings out like that then that means,
" You like me too?" I asked, fascinated as I stood back up, straightening myself.
"H-hai. J-just, don't start going cheesy on me ok?" Rin stuttered. Hahaha, she's embarrassed. She's so cute.
"Alright. It's a deal." I promised.
Just then, we heard a growling stomach. Rin blushed and laughed nervously.
"Hehe, looks like I'm hungry."
" Want some icecream? Even if it is fall, I don't care. I'll pay for you too. So come on. I know a really cheap icecream shop just down the street. Want to go?" I asked.
"Un! I'd love to." Rin answered gleefully.
Just as we were about to enter the icecream shop, Kaito Sensei came out, a carton full of multiple scoops of different icecream flavors.
"Kaito Sensei! Konbawa(Good evening)!" Rin and I said in unison.
Kaito Sensei turned and saw us and smiled, a spoon in his mouth. Taking it out, he greeted us,
" Aaaaa. Rin-Chan. Len-kun. Konbawa. Nice day isn't it?"
"Hai." Rin and I said in unison again.
"Aaaaa, are you two going out now? You two look adorable." Kaito Sensei said in a chipper voice. I began to turn red and Rin thanked him.
"Ano...Kaito Sensei, not to be rude or anything, but, are you with someone right now?" Rin asked.
" Hai. I am indeed. I'm with my darling Mei-chan to be exact. Also, I have a surprise for her today. I'll tell you guys tomorrow ok?" Kaito Sensei said with a big grin on his face.
" Ok!" Rin and I synchronized again. Just then, a beautiful woman with short brown hair came out. She sighed with a scowl on her face, yet immediately smiled when she saw Rin and I.
"Oh my! You two are so cute! Are you dating?" The brunette asked with peaked excitement. She was seemed really nice and Rin and laughed answering her question.
She was very happy for us and graduated us.
"Mei-chan, these are my students. Kagami Rin and Kagamine Len."
" Aaaaa, sou ka. Well, you two are just the cutest things I've ever seen. Well, better be on our way. I would hate to keep you two from your date. Have fun you two. Be careful too. You never know what might happen. Have fun!" The brunette.cheered as she and Kaito Sensei.waved and left. They look like a happy couple themselves.
When Rin and I entered, there stood a shaking cashier. Rin and I looked at each other and laughed. Kaito Sensei sure got himself a good woman. Kind, yet, very very strong. They'll keep each other in check and always have fun. Like Rin and I.
