Maddie's POV

I took Lilac shopping for new things in my room since those rouges messed everything up. This time I have a huge king sized bed. Lilac is moving in so I get some neutral furniture and we head home with everything coming tomorrow in a U-Haul truck. Tonight we both sleep in the living room on the hide-a-couch. But we have no privacy so we can't do anything besides kiss. Shame. Stupid rouges mess everything up. We walk in the door and start drooling at the smell of meat. We run into the kitchen and I'm immediately squished in a hug by my two favorite guys that protected me at my last school.

"Oh honey I forgot to tell you that we were having a pack meeting." Mom said to me.

As a voice cleared behind me and my cousins dropped me to the floor and stood up straight pushing their chests out. Lilac started to growl at them with jealousy clearly on her face. Jake grabbed me by the neck and wrapped her fingers around it. I knew what I had to do. Even though Jake's hold was no were near enough to hurt me I had to pretend like it was. I held my breath and felt my cheeks flush red. I watched as Tamani blocked Lilac's path to me. Lilac flipped Tamani and he landed on his back, the air knocked out of him. Than Jake's fingers were pried away from me and she was thrown against the wall. Than Lilac flew past me to Tamani and punched him in the face knocking him back down from his knee position on the floor. Than he kicked him in the stomach and Tamani flew against the wall. Lilac flew back and grabbed Jake around the throat. Than she disappeared. I heard struggling behind me and when I turned around I struggled not to laugh. Lilac had both Tamani and Jake held by the throat, off the floor and against the wall. I walked over to her and wrapped her in a vise iron grip. I handed her to my mom and embraced Tamani and Jake. They dropped me to the floor again and we walked to Lilac. Mom released her and Tamani and Jake wrapped her in the same bone crushing hug they had me in before.

Than they said, "We're Maddie's overly protective cousins and you passed our test. You are worthy of Maddie. Take care of her." They dropped her and we went to sit at the pack table.

There are three captain chairs at the head of the table. Mom sat on the far right so I sat in the middle and Lilac sat on my left. They talked about calling in more guards for me so the guards won't reach me. Than Tamani and Jake decided to get Lilac and I comfortable. They pulled out the hide-a-bed and made us food. Than mom put in a movie for us while Tamani and Jake forced us to lay down. Than they left and we fell asleep soon after.

Note: Jake (her overly protected cousin) is a girl now. the author wanted it that way I don't know readers I don't know!!! But uhh follow me o could edit your story.. wink wink naw!! But yeah
