CH 1- Precious Life

The Hashira's and everyone else has had a bitter taste in their mouths after hearing the news about Rengoku Kyojuro. After the Kamaboko Suqad had returned and received treatment as well, everyone spoke their peace upon his death, including you.  When burying his body, Tanjiro had carried their son to the grave and spoke to him.

"You're getting pretty big already, Haijuro..." he laughed a little while the baby was giggling before growing silent. Tanjiro's had began to explain Kyojuro in a marvelous way, telling him how protective, smart, and kind hearted he was. That his courage moved many people. The baby though not being to understand, would just hear Tanjiro talk.
"You resemble him much, though I think with your mothers features they take over." (If your hair color is darker it would have effected how similar the baby would look to Kyojuro, still being blond but Y'know. Vice Versa. Though without committing to the practice, the mothers features are there more than the fathers, yet the eyes carry as well as some other things that'll be mentioned as the baby grows.)

"Beside that.." Tanjiro passed, the wind blowing while holding little Haijuro against his hip. Inosuke and Zenitsu had come to accompany him. "You would've been a great parent." Inosuke was quiet when it came to these things, he was starting to realize the point in them. Zenitsu began to pray as well as Tanjiro.

—Butterfly Mansion—

Shinobu and the girls were hanging out with you and Nezuko. It was to help lighten your mood due to the situation. When the boys returned he also returned your son. You gasped.

"Oh my goodness! Why is he growing so fast?" You complained cause you were genuinely curious.

"It's weird, but it could be like Nezuko discovering her powers. They are half demon." Shinobu guessed.

"Kyo!" Your baby spoke with fangs in their mouth. "Kyo!" They coped and you smiled great. You held your baby up like when you first had them.

"Awe~! Haijuro!" You happily said and gave your son kisses all over his face and hugged him. He hugged back and hiccuped out of no where.

"Miss (y/n). Tanjiro had spoke to you during the moment. You gave him your attention. "Rengoku wished me to tell his brother and father his last words. I know it's light out but would you like to come?"

You were confused cause you wouldn't know how you'd get there. Tanjiro revealed Nezuko's box as an idea.

"Nezuko still wanted to play! So she offered it!" He exclaimed and when you looked over at her she nodded, with Zenitsu growing butterflies just from looking at her.

"Well, I don't even know if I could shrink... " you thought and gave Haijuro to Kanao, who didn't know what do but just help him. You came over to the box, Tanjiro had put down and opened. You examined it and raised a brow. You looked at your more developed figure and then Nezuko.

"Yeah... well. The pregnancy was worse than discomfort." You closed your eyes and focused. The mist you originally have for your powers came off as steam as you shrunk your figure. Being enough to fit. "Ah...!" You were surprised. "This is definitely kinda cool..." you admitted.

"I could stomp her out..." Inosuke mumbled.

"Inosuke!" Tanjiro flared back but he scoffed to look off. Taking Haijuro from Kanao who didn't mind if he did. Inosuke was still feeling like a Lord especially by taking the sight of seeing life being born as the biggest challenge of his life.

"I want Haijuro to come....they deserve to see him." You suggested. Climbing into the box that Nezuko was in and closing it, Tanjiro held your up onto his back. He opened his arms to Inosuke to take the baby but he was refused.

"Oi! C'mon Inosuke! You'll have more time to hold Haijuro when I get back!"

"Tch! His names not Henjiro! You will address him as my second in command. You should've seen where Gyojuro came from! A trooper!" He yelled but Tanjiro took him when Inosuke ranted. It gave you veins how he screwed up the name twice even. Who's as he even talking about?

"Alright! See you guys!" Inosuke grew frustrated and Zenitsu held him back.

"INOSUKE WHATS WRONG WITH YOU?!" He complained while Inosuke lashed out. Shinobu and the girls giggled, while Kanao watched Tanjiro run off.

Tanjiro began his journey as Haijuro was quiet but looking at Tanjiro walk a way to where the Rengoku residence shall be. "How're you doing back there, (y/n)?"

"To be honest, I don't know how you and Nezuko do this...." You laughed from inside the box and Tanjiro laughed too. In that moment, Haijuro was patting his scar on his head. It made Tanjiro smile.

"(Y/n).." he said. You answered with a Hm? "I will make sure that you and Haijuro are safe. Not just because Kyojuro had asked me to do but because Haijuro deserves a life to live." He said. "You are not alone, (y/n). I'll become stronger and make sure that my sister and you can have your humanity back!" Haijuro cheered as Tanjiro addressed. His words made her cry to yourself.

"Thank you so much, Tanjiro..."
