CH. 4- The Future

Haijuro began speaking and Senjuro took the time to work on terminology and his words.'if he wants something, it to make signs if there's something he needs. Senjuro had the patience unlike Shinjuro and just seeing Senjuro play the part was heart warming.

"See, Haijuro! That's Mama!" He mentioned and pointed. Haijuro looked up and smiled.

"Mama! Mama!" He exclaimed and crawled over, then using your attire to stand up to be picked up.

"Awe.. Senjuro... you're so sweet to him." You commented.

"Hey, (y/n)." Senjuro would begin. "Maybe you can leave Haijuro with us?" He suggested. You heard Senjuro as he requests.

"Well, I could... but that'll mean I'll have to leave some stuff behind if I'm away too long." You responded.

"I can take good care of Haijuro and I'm sure father is warming up to you. He's been taking it easy..." Senjuro informed. "Even though Haijuro is your priority now, Tanjiro is running with the encouragement my big brother has set in him. If he needs help, we wouldn't mind."

"Senjuro..."

"It's true, we wouldn't mind watching over your son. Nonetheless, we can figure out what makes your son special. Even though this isn't something I'd imagine the Rengoku's continuing on, yet Haijuro and you are what's left of his legacy going on." Shinjuro came from the corner, as if he's been there.

You smiled at them then bowed before them, by getting on your knees and head to the floor.
"Thank you guys so much for your hospitality. I will forever be grateful." You said.

"Raise your head! ....Please!" Shinjuro spat and you got up quickly. 'yes!' You replied.

"The boy you should also look after is Tanjiro. He may be the end to this war. Nonetheless, he'll also be there to protect Haijuro from Kibutsuji's wrath." Shinjuro admitted. "The corporation may be into something..."

Haijuro started to yawn and reached to you for comfort. 'Mama!Mama!' He said. Responding by picking him up.
"I'll see where I can find young Kamado." You mentioned. "I don't want my absence to harm Haijuro but Tanjiro... you're right. I get the same feeling. I'll take off tonight and if not the next night to give sample before leaving." Haijuro was yanking on your top eagerly.

"Thank you both very much for being so kind to me."

Another day went by, you haven't received a crow on the Kamaboko's squad's progress. You hope they were alright, nonetheless. You might as well help them fight to prove even more to the Demon Slayers. As the sun set, after feeding Haijuro to keep him from crying and burping him probably 4 times throughout the day. You began putting a heck ton of milk in bottles Senjuro offered after he cleaned them of course. You sighed during the process as your mind wondered, you looked about and noticed a shadow and another scent. You stood up and closed the room to Haijuro, before leaving you left a mist and covered his head in case someone entered. It seems the rest of them were sleep by now and you stepped out. Immediately, a hand covered your mouth. You yelped but were to see Sanemi. He put his finger and said

"Shut up or I'll take your head off."
