Student Izuku and Momo harness glowing new powers when they wore otherworldly rings. Now the two must help an intergalactic force against a powerful foe.
Momo came back to the house after picking up their adoptive kids, Eri and Kota, who they found abandoned. Which was a good thing because they soon found out that several villains were after them when they hid from them and overheard their conversation.
Sadly the villains weren't caught yet, but were on the most wanted. Momo was preparing dinner when she was the news about the flight incident.
Momo: Oh dear.
Eri: Mama, is papa okay?
Momo knelt down on one knee and placed a hand on Eri's head.
Momo: Papa's okay. Why? Because he's not afraid of the littlest of things.
Eri: Like bad people?
Momo: Like bad people. Now go play with your brother, dinner will be ready soon.
Eri: Okay!
Eri runs off while Momo continues with making dinner. She didn't want to show it, but she was worried about the man who became her husband. Also not having much confidence in herself and her Quirk when thinking about becoming a hero.
An hour has past. Izuku wasn't come home yet and she worries. The kids were in bed asleep while she sat on the bedside in the master bedroom.
She heard the door open, but before she could go see if it was Izuku, she felt a presence and in front of her in the dark was a green ring.
She had no idea what it was or how it came to be.

The ring inserts itself into her ring, replacing her wedding ring, she could her her husband speaking something in the living room. When Momo came out minutes later, Izuku had already left with Carol.
Momo then sees the lantern on the table where Izuku left it. She could hear the same voice beckoning her to say the oath. As if she was possessed, Momo says it as she holds out the ring.
Momo: In brightest day, in blackest night. No evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might, Beware my power... Green Lantern's light!
A green light flashes and Momo disappeared. A green light was shown outside the house, flying towards the sky.
