Chapter 7: S-so, is it a date?

"Shut up already!"

"C'mon Mochizou! You're getting us to watch your girlfriend's club activity and you expect us not to give you any crap?"

"Just cut it out already, Inuyama! Look, this is good for both of our clubs. The baton club gets a free marketing video which also helps promote the film club. It's a win-win."

"Still, aren't we the ones putting in the most amount of work? They're just doing what they always do."

Momotaro had begun ruffling his hair.

"So are we. We'd still be filming today if we weren't doing this."

"But you said you weren't posting it, so how would it help them?"

"Ah, we're here! C'mon guys, let's head in!"

Tamako heard the door open and turned over to wave to Mochizou. While he was waving back, the baton which she had tossed into the air turned and fell directly on her head.

"Tamako! A-are you alright?"

"Ow... I'm alright. This... er... happens a lot... heh..."

*snap*

"Momotaro! What was that for?"

"We're not posting this, right? So we should have free reign over what we film, right?"

"That's not- Whatever. Let's just get on with this. Tamako, are you sure you're alright?"

Tamako gave him a bright smile.

"Yep! I tend to recover pretty quickly."

Mochizou shot her a thumbs up and they began to film.

"And that's a wrap everyone! Again, remember to take it easy. We don't really have any other big events, anyways."

Midori dismissed the club, who had gone into the changing rooms.

"So we'll be editing this on monday?"

"Yep. I still think that it's pretty cute that you wanted to film your girlfriend's club."

Mochizou turned red and turned away. Inuyama interrupted.

"Yeah, didn't you have, like, 3 GBs of just Tamako?"

"Shut up!"

At this point, Tamako and Mochizou were walking towards the pond, hand in hand.

"So Tamako, what do you want to do at the pond?"

"Hm? Well... I think that we could go across the stones again. I just hope that we don't get followed again~"

Tamako wore a tired expression when she said this. In response, Mochizou's face lit up with a smirk.

"W-wait... what are you doing, Tamako? Woah, back up a sec, I don't think- Hang on! Hold on a minute, stop! I'm not- I can't-"

Tamako looked at Mochizou with a dumbfounded expression while Mochizou simply peered at a bush in the distance where he saw 2 blobs jump out and run away.

"W-what were you doing, Mochizou?"

"Makino and Asagiri were following us, so I decided to try to get them off of our back."

Tamako looked at Mochizou with an expression of wonder.

"That was amazing, Mochizou!"

"Y-you think so? T-thanks."

The 2 of them made it to the pond, both of them holding something behind their back. They skipped to the middle of the stones. Since this is a fanfic, naturally, the sun was setting and the wind was strong.

"Uwah!"

"Tamako!"

"I-I'm ok!"

Tamako lost her balance for a moment, but managed to stabilize without dropping anything.
