Working in the main branch was tougher than he thought.

Right now James was having a cookie at the recreation room flashing quick smiles at the girls who kept oogling at him.

" Quite famous with the ladies huh..?"

James turned to Laurence who surprisingly was having coffee in the recreation room unlike always

" Are you stalking me?" James asked

Laurence rolled his eyes, and spoke nonchalantly

"you wish..."

James chuckled " I'm told you never come here... Nor do you engage in social gatherings"

It was obvious.. the minute he walked in, all murmurs died down. Only occasional glances remained

" It's just coffee.." Laurence said blankly

James laughed " king.. you make people uncomfortable , haven't you noticed?"

" Charming " Laurence said blankly as he kept his mug with a thud making two girls who kept eye raping him flinch as if they were caught red handed

James chuckled at that as Laurence started for the door. James followed suit offering an apologetic smile to the ladies.
As soon as Laurence was out the room became lively again

" You are like a black hole you know... You suck life out of everything" James said

Laurence looked at James if James hadn't been busy walking he'd have seen the hurt look on Laurence's face, that only lasted for about a second and he was back to a blank face

James had never formally stated that he has forgiven Laurence,but he had acted as if nothing happened
But there were times when he was bitter...
It was as if he was attacking Laurence, and this was one of those times.

Marcus was looking intently at the huge Sisera's portrait on his wall when Laurence and James walked in that he didn't notice them.

" Are you expecting her to pop out of the portrait ...?"

Marcus looked at them with a smug smile

"Oh no... I was thinking, and she happened to look at me" he said
Returning his gaze to his paperwork

" How's the progress?" Laurence asked taking a sit

James takes his time and only sits when he has spotted a fresh box of cookies

" I don't know anymore King... This person seems to know every detail of our Shares, I'm Thanksful for the progress that James brought. But now we are in a fragile position... We need to rapidly increase our Shares in a month "

" How's that possible..?" James whined

"Partnership...?" Laurence offered

" Definitely no... Do you know how many companies we've refused?" Marcus said

" And we need the board to pass this King... You can't just take action on your hands.." James said

There it was... He was attacking him again.
Laurence sighed

" I'm not taking action, I'm giving my views. James do you have a problem with me..?"

" No, why?" James asked blankly

" Really?! Because you've been a massive bitch for some time..."

" Okay... That's enough for today,I'll think about it and give you a feedback set me a meeting with the promising companies tomorrow.."

" But your schedule is already full..." James stated
