Travis, Maya and Vic stood outside the entrance looking dumbstruck reading a poster on the window.
This Christmas station 19 are bringing together families and friends to come and join us to count down Christmas every day from 15-24 of December. they'll be fun activities, singing, listening to stories and even meeting Santa and Mrs clause and having Christmas dinner
Maya; "Thats in two days"
The chief thought it was the perfect time for 19 to do the Christmas parade as other stations always do it and 19 hadn't contribute
Vic; "oh good, you here, I guess you knew about this and forgot to tell us." She started to talk to Robert as he join maya Vic and Travis.
Robert; "why would I get this information before you I'm nothing now remember". And started reading the poster
Vic; "yes I remember but you're still you, you have a connection to the chief".
Robert; "sorry Hughes I didn't know anything until now."
Andy; "Are we locked out again or are we standing out freezing for the fun of it." She said as she made the others jump
Vic; "wait what are you doing here and did you know about this."
Andy;" I guess I'm early"
Robert; "what do you mean you're early?" He asked a bit snappy which he didn't mean.
Andy; "I thought the chief had spoken to you all before now but I'm back at 19. it might be only for a few weeks but he had an idea that 19 could open their doors to families as the poster said".
she knew she wasn't going to get a good welcome back from Robert but the rest of her team wasn't bothered that she was back. Andy and Robert had yet another argument a few weeks ago she told him she slept with Beckett. It hurt him loads, the look on his face said he hated her more than ever as he walked away from her.
As the team sat and ate breakfast chief finally made his appearance.
Chief; "I guess you all saw the poster then," he said as he put a pot of paper on the table.
Jack; "why do we have to do it can't 23 do it or another station"
Chief; "believe it or not you are the only station that hasn't put on something to do with Christmas the other station have"
Vic; "all more reason for them to do it again this year then."
Chief; "sorry Hughes 19 will be doing it. Grab a piece of paper it's secret Santa time"
As the station wasn't taking any calls the station was quiet. Stuff for the event was bring brought in but so they couldn't do much so maya, Jack, Vic and Travis were in the beanery all talking.
The chief stuck around to help they had two days to get everything ready.
The grotto had just been delivered so the men of nineteen set it up as the ladies watched from a distance
Robert; "ain't you got anything better to do than watch us work our butts off."
Maya, Vic; "no sir," They said together
Vic; "just watching you all is hard work laughing as you put the roof on backwards". She said as they all laughed.
Robert; "what it's not on backwards, it's the right way". He was getting a little frustrated with Travis and jack also with the ladies watching him
Vic; "sir I'm sure the goes at the back of the grotto and not at the front". She couldn't help but tease this man.
Robert stood back a bit and saw himself the roof was on the wrong way
