Robert gets up early he needed to get out of the station For a couple of hours.
Today was little Andrea's last day someone would pick her up later that day.
Andrea; "where's Robert I don't see him anywhere" the little girl asked Andy
Andy; "I don't know I can't see him either". She said as she sent him a message.
Two days before Christmas and there were still a lot of different activities the children can do. The children that have been there every day had a part in a little play. They had a few animals that came to visit some rabbits, little pony's so the children can have a little ride.
Andrea stayed with Andy she didn't want to do much but andy encourage her to go and play she be there watching her. Eventually, the little girl sat and did some colouring
Andy; "hey where have you been, Andrea's been asking for you all morning". She told Robert who had just come to the station.
Robert; "I had to hand some papers into the office then I went to get a few things."
Flashback
Last night as Andy got upset And Robert went to see how she is.
Andy; "Yesterday when I went out I went to the orphanage to have a look where Andrea lives. I got talking to a lady named Linda she had told me that the little one only ever asks for a mother or a father or both to love her. When a parent comes to meet the children she gets very excited but by the of the day is shattered when they don't choose her.
I told Linda that I want this little girl so gave me the forms
Andrea breaks my heart, it hurts to know she is alone, I never felt like this and neither do I want too but Robert I want to be her Mom I want her to be my little girl. she looks Robert in the eyes and says OUR little one... If you are willing to adopt her with me you need to fill in your part"
Robert looks at her and says" I want her to be our daughter too, I'm willing to do whatever it takes to have her with us permanently he said taking the forms. let's go back to Andres before She wakes up and we'll see what we can do to Let it be our morning and that means that from now on you are only mine my wife"

with the words I handed the forms in made her smile
Robert; "don't get your hopes up I was talking to Carol and she said we have little chance of becoming her parents because we are firefighters and she thinks our job will be in the way of her"
Andy watches the little girl laughing with Jack as he pretends to fly her around the room like she was an aeroplane.
Andy; "then what do we do, she asked Robert. If we can't have this little girl what do we "do
Robert; "we are there for her we make them see we are good enough for her the have our numbers so they can contact us."
As time passed the children sang a few Christmas songs after they performed their play which was called no room at the inner
Linda from the orphanage came to pick Andrea up she was early so she sat and watched Andy and Robert with the little girl. Andrea had a proper smile on her face happy to be with Andy and Robert. Linda smiled as the little girl always put on a fake smile but this smile wasn't a pretend she was happy.
Andrea saw Linda standing to a side at the back.
Andrea; "please don't make me go, I'll be good I promise. I want you both to be my parents."The little girl started to cry
Andy; "I'm sorry darling but you have to go home with Linda but I promise I'll come and see you and if you like you can ring me any time of the day" she said as her voice was starting to break.
Andrea; "but I want to stay with you, why can't I stay with you" wrapping her arms around Andy's neck refusing to let go of her.
A few tears escaped down Andy's face Robert helped as he took the little girl into his arms
Robert; "here this is a special bear with a necklace around it's neck it had a locket attached which had a photo of the three of them in, that you can have to remember you of me and Andy we love you so much."
Andrea; but you don't love me enough for me to stay with you forever", they knew the little girl was mad.
Robert took Andrea to the car strapping her into the seat she was still crying as she wouldn't look at him one last time. They weren't prepared for this as tears fell down Andy's face Robert trying to keep it together.
The car disappears into the distance Robert couldn't keep it together any longer he walk back into the station to his bunk and let a few tears escape. It wasn't long he found Andy standing in the doorway crying he holds his arms open for her to go to him as she did he shuts the door. They lay together on his bunk until eventually their we're that exhausted that they fell asleep.
The rest of the team were sad as well the little girl had a big spark to the station, leaving a mark where ever she went and was sad that she had to go.
The only one that seemed to still be smiling was Beckett who thinks now the little girl isn't around that Andy and Robert wouldn't be strong anymore.
At the orphanage, Andrea was still crying it had been four hours since they had left and all she's done is cry and ask for Andy and Robert.
Linda; "we are going to have to call them so she can calm down and get some sleep. I've never seen this little girl like this."
Carol; "alright but I don't think the answer to busy fighting fire". The women had no hope in andy and Robert from the start when they stopped to visit. But Linda saw their bond and knew they love the little girl as much as the little girl does them
Andy wakes to her phone ring it was an orphanage
Andy; "hello" she said a sleepy.
Linda; "I'm sorry to bother you but ever since I brought Andrea home she hasn't stopped crying she's been asking for you and Mr Sullivan".
Andy; "please can I talk to her"
Linda; "sure I'll take the phone with her now."
Andy; "thanks would we be able to come and see her help her calm down."
Linda; "yes that's fine, the lady said
Andy someone wants to talk to you," Linda told the little girl"
Andy; "hello baby it's me Andy how are you"
Andrea; "I don't want to be here I want to be with you and Robert I can't sleep".
While on the phone with the little girl Andy and Robert made their way to the car, it was a good half-hour drive but they didn't care, the little girl who they love dearly is upset and is more important
Linda took the couple to Andrea's room once they arrived shocked by Carol as she didn't think the couple was worthy. the little girl jumped off the bed and into Andy's arms. They stayed for a while making sure the little girl had settled and fallen asleep and with her knowing that they'll ring her in the morning she was happy.
Getting back to the station to find the team were all asleep
Andy decided to head to the rooftop she wasn't really tired she just couldn't stop thinking about Andrea.
Robert; everything will work out, we just got to stick together and fight. Robert had a feeling she was up here it's where she thinks best.
Andy; "it's only been a couple of days that's she been around but in that small amount of time I have got to know her and I love her so much." she said letting out a cry.
Robert; come on lets try and sleep, he said taking her hand they went to his bunk to sleep.
Beckett watched as they walk together hand in hand into Roberts bunk.
